Education

I studied at Sapienza University of Rome, one of the oldest and largest universities in Europe, with a history stretching back over 700 years and a reputation for academic excellence across a wide range of disciplines. Being part of such a prestigious institution meant learning alongside students from all over Italy and beyond, in an environment that was as intellectually challenging as it was culturally diverse. That experience pushed me to think critically, work hard, and build a strong foundation that I continue to draw on in my work today.

I was always the best student in my class, and that passion for learning showed early — I started teaching at just 8 years old, helping classmates and younger students understand lessons I had already mastered. I am an Italian musician, trained in the classical guitar.
I have been studying guitar since the age of fifteen at the conservatory in Sicily.
I finished my degree at the BENEDETTO MARCELLO conservatory in Venice.
I compose my own music in the classical style with the guitar.
Within the genre of classical music I play, for example, Bach and Giuliani. As an electrical guitarist, I am used to playing with the fender sound, blues, and jazz.
I offer lessons for people who would like a start in the guitar world. I enjoy teaching all ages and I am open to see what and how you would like to learn. We can learn the technical way or be more open with playing.

For example with children, I am used to teaching with the book from the composer Sagreras. However, I am open if you'd like to improve in some song which you love!;)

Italy is one of the countries where not that many citizens speak English language, therefore it might be difficult to adapt to locals without knowing Italian, at least basic one.

By this class I would like to immerse you into Basic Italian language and culture. For the teaching purposes, throughout the classes, I will use different highly-rated textbooks of local editions, effective YouTube channels, interesting articles. Through my experience as a secondary school teacher, I have come to realise that the acquirement of a language goes
beyond just having another skill.

Languages give students an opportunity to understand another culture and build respect and awareness as an individual. Equally, being an individual who enjoys immersing themselves in other cultures, I believe it is extremely beneficial to make use of out of classroom learning experiences, especially in language learning.
