About Me

Italian native speaker. I was born in Florence, Italy. I lived in lots of places around the world but I am currently located in Toronto, Canada. Here I keep teaching in an Italian Institute.

My passion for teaching and connecting with people, brought me to create a private network called Italian Together.

The scope of this platform is to help you become more confident in Italian by offering you various different resources to improve.

There isn't ONE single tool or all-in-one tidy package that will teach you everything you need to be proficient in Italian.

When we really want to learn a language, we end up using a collection of tools to cover all the angles: from learning the grammar, having a tutor, perfecting your pronunciation, to building your vocabulary. That's awesome!

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them.
In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language.

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading.
