From 28 £ /h

Hi/Ciao/Ahoj! My name's Ellen and I'm a professional language tutor. Languages are my great passion and what I love the most about them is the fact that they allow me to meet many people from all around the world and be capable of having conversations with them.
I'm patient and I know how hard it can be to learn a language. I'll gladly explain everything to you as many times as you need. People learn at different paces and so I always make an individual teaching plan for each student to get the best results possible in a way that's fun and engaging.
Lessons include grammar, conversation, listening exercises, reading comprehension, and sometimes also games so we don't go crazy :) I'll help you with getting to know the language and becoming sure in speaking it, even with native speakers. No need to buy textbooks - I'll make sure you have all the materials we will need during our lessons.
I believe the best way to learn a language is to talk.... and talk. So during our lessons, we will study grammar but we will also use it during conversations so you can become a great conversationalist :)

About Me

I'm patient and can tailor a lesson to each student. In the introductory class, I always evaluate the current level of the student and prepare other lessons to best suit their needs (moving to the Czech Republic, work, ...). I've already learned over 4 languages and I am still continuing to study others, so I know how difficult language learning can be, especially at times when motivation seems to be lost.

Education

I studied at the Italian liceum and there I learned Italian. During my studies, I completed many exchange programs in various countries. I am currently studying at university.

I teach the 4 language skills: speaking, writing, listening, and reading in a fun way.

My main teaching philosophy is to make the learning experience as enjoyable as possible so that my students can learn without feeling bored. This encourages students to study and learn more while enjoying the process of learning.

Hello everyone!

My name is Maksim, and I am a first-year Environmental Engineering student from Bosnia and Herzegovina, currently studying in Budapest.
I offer language lessons in three languages:
• Italian (up to B2 level) – for beginners or those preparing for the CILS exam (I passed B2 last year).
• English (up to C1 level, IELTS preparation) – We won't just do grammar; we’ll use real-world articles (science, art, history) to bridge the gap to a high C1 level.
• Serbian (native) – for anyone interested in learning from scratch or improving
I adapt my lessons to your preferences and focus on making them interactive, relaxed, and enjoyable. I understand how difficult it can be to speak a new language, so I always create a safe, judgment-free environment where mistakes are part of learning. No boring textbooks—we use music, videos, and real conversation.

Middle and High School classes are an important piece to their development and future academics. As a former Middle and High School teacher in the US, I've been supporting students to better understand, enjoy, and get ahead in their mathematics and English classes.

I've been involved in teaching for almost a decade, won Teacher of the Year twice, and set records for student test scores in Mathematics. I bring a unique approach to every student based on their needs and goals. My former students have gone on to top American universities, increased their university entrance test scores by more than 30%, and succeed on Hungarian high school mathematics entrance exams.
