Jambo! I'm Irene, a native Swahili teacher from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania - the heart of Swahili!

Swahili is my mother tongue and I speak fluent English. I am a friendly, patient and cheerful teacher who loves meeting people from around the world.

I have 2+ years experience teaching Swahili to travelers, expats, volunteers and students who come to Tanzania for safari, work and volunteering. I help beginners speak real, everyday Swahili from day one - greetings, market, taxi, restaurant and daily life.
