About Me

Hi! My name is Tessie from the Philippines. I earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Management. Currently, I am a freelance English trainer at Hilokal - an online Language Site for those who want to learn more English. I handled school operations as Admin. Supervisor for 10 years and I was also teaching at the same time. I taught different subjects at the Elementary level and Values Education at the High school level. When it comes to teaching, my strategy is very simple. I use different approaches for each student depending on their levels. For English lessons, I usually use books suitable for students' level or any materials to meet their needs.
I also teach the Tagalog language - my native language to those who are interested. For Tagalog lessons, I have created my own lectures. They are simplified and comprehensive. The lessons cover reading, vocabulary, speaking, listening and comprehension, grammar, and pronunciation.
As your online coach, I will be with you every step of the way. Our session will be fun and interactive. Let's practice what you already know and add something new each day. I will help you improve in speaking English, and Tagalog.
During my free time, I love playing with our dogs. I'm a dog lover and we have 11 dogs actually and counting. Also, I love cooking. Eating together is my family's bonding time. I am a youth adviser. Doing some women and children counseling. Facilitate church activities, especially the youth singing team.
