Teaching since 2008 I have a good experience working with children and adults . I am familiar with ABRSM Grade system. My teaching process is based on the classical methodical rules, but I am teaching other musical styles as well, such as folk, basic jazz or improvisation (for advanced students). For beginners: songs, games, improvisation, creation. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition.

For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages.

I push to go further in the quality of the interpretation with simple means to better understand the music and thus allow more expressiveness and freedom.

I also offer improvisation, harmony,
lessons in musical ensembles, especially vocal polyphony for children, and lessons for specific needs, for example just intonation for singers or other instruments.

I'm a London-based, classically trained violinist who loves helping people explore and expand their skills on the violin. Each student is unique and has their own strengths, weaknesses and goals, and guiding them along their path is like solving a different puzzle every time. And I love puzzles!

I tailor my teaching to the student, so in a first lesson I like to get to know you a little bit, hear about your ideas, your goals and what your relationship to the instrument is. And then we work from there.

I am both an Opera Singer and a classroom Music Teacher. My love for teaching and singing have always lived side by side.
