I started playing trombone at the age of nine. I have been a professional since 1972 and have played in many bands, including in Las Vegas, Nevada. I had a band in the 1970s, which toured in 14 states. I studied trombone with the famous Dr. Donald S. Reinhardt, in college, and also with Art Sayres of Las Vegas, who studied with Tommy Dorsey's teacher.

About Me
Composer – Musician – Singer
Growing up, in a very small but quaint town in West Virginia, Chuck was inundated with music from the forties— the musical era of his parents’ teenage years and twenties. He became a fan of 40s music right after a famous rock group had a song on the radio with a double negative in the lyrics. Radio no longer gave him satisfaction, in and of itself.
Chuck’s sister is literally a prodigy and, to this day, she’s a truly phenomenal pianist. His great aunt, a graduate of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, played piano in silent movies way back in the 1920s. After Chuck put in his time at Marshall University, he continued his music studies privately with some of the finest teachers in the world in Philadelphia and in Las Vegas. He then went on the road with his own eight-piece band.
Chuck has been singing all his life; he began piano lessons at the age of eight, and trombone at the age of nine. He played trombone in his eight-piece band, touring the entire Midwest and Southeast U.S. — a total of twelve states. From there, he moved to Las Vegas and lived and performed there for eighteen years.

Acting and Directing
There is more. Three years, Chuck wrote, directed, and acted in radio plays, which were aired on public radio. Previous to these, he was a Thespian in high school, accumulating the highest number of Thespian points (for performances) of anyone from his school, having acted in plays and performed around 300 times as a singer.

Commercial Production and Voiceovers
Then there were several voiceovers, radio commercials, and jingle production. Doing radio commercials, he delivered in the markets of Las Vegas, Nevada and in Orlando, Florida. Here is a commercial Chuck produced in its entirety, which was on the air in Orlando.

Musician, Singer, and Bandleader
Not only did Chuck sing in Las Vegas shows, but he also played trombone in some of the big bands of Las Vegas. His wife, Sheree, a dancer, singer, language teacher (French, English, and German) and he decided to form a duo in Las Vegas and worked in major hotels. In recent times, they have worked many venues in Central Florida (Orlando area)

Vocal Coach
Along the way, Chuck also has done extensive vocal coaching, production, arranging, and composition. He has worked with several thousand students in Florida and in several foreign countries via the internet. Some of his students have been on Broadway, some have had recording contracts, and some have been on television in singing competition shows such as The Voice and Sing-Off.
Chuck believes in the old-fashioned way of developing an artist, but definitely doesn’t object to talented people being able to get a leg up in the business, as long as they are prepared. It’s part of paying the dues and earning the right to be on stage. Many singers cannot sing a chromatic scale, a cappella. Chuck can show you how.
Education
Marshall University, majored in music, extensive private lessons with professionals in Las Vegas in vocal technique (Debra Bonner-now in Hollywood and Greg Enriquez and a day with the guru of those gurus, Seth Riggs), arranging (With Don Hannah), and performing. Studied trombone in Philadelphia with Dr. Donald S. Reinhardt and learned breathing techniques beyond what is required for singers.
Experience / Qualifications
Professional singer and trombonist in my touring band in 14 states in U.S., sang in shows in Las Vegas and did performances in the Orlando, Florida area, produced commercials in Las Vegas and Orlando, have written over 2500 musical works and still writing most days.

Vocal technique, style, articulation, phrasing, range extension, safe singing technique, and singing without strain and without register transition issues (braking or cracking when changing registers). American Style Singing including safe and effective vocal technique and breathing techniques. Style and phrasing for emotional impact.
I use a very safe and effective vocal technique that helps singers to sing without a break in the voice, to have the endurance, flexibility and power required for modern singing in every style. I teach proper effective breathing techniques to give you the control you need.

My students have appeared on American TV (The Voice, American Idol, and SingOff), some have been touring recording artists, and some on Broadway. We can work toward such professional goals.

I teach musicianship for singers so that they can sing better in tune and to do phrasing which is stylistically appropriate to the genre they choose.

I work with beginning singers, intermediate, and all the way to advanced or professional level singers.

I am a professional singer. I have sung in shows in Las Vegas, Orlando, and in 14 states in the U.S. I also have produced singing commercials in Las Vegas and Orlando, Florida.

I have a few books for singers, including one I use in teaching, which is 425 pages.

About me

I help students start playing real music early—often within the first few lessons.

I’m a professional pianist with 12+ years of teaching experience and over 7 years of international performing (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain, and worldwide on luxury cruise ships).

Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after a break, I tailor each lesson to your goals so you can progress efficiently and enjoy the process.

I started piano at age 6 and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano Performance. I’ve also taken part in many masterclasses and studied with outstanding pianists. My background includes classical, jazz, blues, pop, rock, and chord-based playing.

I’m passionate about teaching and focused on helping you reach your goals in a clear, supportive, and enjoyable way.

About the Lesson

I am a patient and dedicated piano teacher, working with students of all ages and levels. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, learning style, and musical interests.

I teach a wide range of styles, from classical to modern music (jazz, blues, pop, etc.).

I can teach you reading sheet music or playing by ear, depending on your preference and goals. I can also help you improvise and create your own music in the styles you enjoy.

I also have strong experience working with students with ADHD and dyslexia, adapting lessons to make learning clear, structured, and engaging.

I focus on healthy technique, musicality, and effective practice habits to build confidence and avoid tension or injury. I also help students develop a technique that prevents common issues such as tendonitis, which is very important for long-term playing. You’ll also receive support outside lessons, including answers, feedback, and video explanations when needed.

I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams (Grades 1–8 and Diplomas), but I also teach students who simply want to enjoy playing. My students range from age 3 to 75+, and all make meaningful progress.

Online lessons are just as effective as in-person ones. I use a professional multi-camera setup and high-quality audio so you can clearly see technique and movement. Most of my lessons (95%+) are taught online.

Curriculum

There is no single method that fits everyone, so I adapt all materials to you.

For beginners, I often use Alfred’s Basic Piano Library. For classical and jazz development, I work with ABRSM and Trinity syllabi. I’m always happy to use other methods if you prefer.

Alongside structured materials, I include music you enjoy and focus on essential skills that apply across all styles—from classical to modern music.

REVIEWS from students:

(5/5) Pascale from France | In-Person Lessons

Gabriel’s teaching style is really impressive, the flow and the content of every lessons are very good and he has 4 CAMERAS that shows his face, keyboard and his view on a sideways so any student can visualize the proper posture and a clear view of the movement of his arms and fingers as he teach. My daughter is only 7 years old and as you can imagine asking her to sit for 1 hour to learn piano is quite a challenge but Gabriel handles it pretty well, and he is understanding of my child’s playfulness during the class and he knows also when to remind her to focus. Gabriel has an impressive amount of patience and knowledge about piano that’s why my daughter Ameco is enjoying and learning so much from him. I’m very happy we found him. I begun taking piano lessons with Gabriel to brush up my skills and and to better understand music before pursuing a graduate degree into a French conservatory. Since the very first piano class with Gabriel, I became very enthusiastic about practicing and due to his patience and clarity to explain musical phrases, theory and interpretation rules, I started to feel and to understand better what I was playing. I warmly recommend Gabriel as a piano tutor to everyone willing to enrich his piano practice! The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment.

Depending on the personal goal of the student, we will learn/refine/explore the following topics:
- Fundamental techniques of playing electric bass
- Understanding and coming up with a bassline
- What makes it groove?
- How to improvise: soloing and walking bass
- How to change the underlying harmonies of a song to make it sound cooler (or weirder!)
- Understanding how the musical elements are glued in a song, and if you dare, how to write one yourself
- How to learn music or play music by ear

Languages: English (fluent), German (B1 and improving), Korean (native)

PROFESSIONAL GUITARIST, COMPOSER, MUSIC AND GUITAR TEACHER

Beginner-Advanced Level

Experience:
I am a professional musician and have been teaching students of all ages for over 20 years. My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students.
Throughout my career I had the satisfaction of studying with great masters of different specialties or styles, each one emphasizing different aspects of flamenco, classical or modern guitar and each one has given me their approach (technique, rhythms, accompaniment, harmony, etc.), which has led me after years of study and compilation to take the best from each one to develop my method.

My role in my classes is more that of a personal trainer than a teacher, where I will be very attentive to bringing out the best in my students, finding the right technique to help them develop a good rhythm, working on their rhythm, etc.
For me, the role of a teacher, in addition to teaching, is to be part of a team, to maintain morale and constantly improve oneself while always maintaining a love for music.

Methodology:
I tailor the lessons to the student's level, style, or goals. Generally, the first half of the lesson is dedicated to technique, focusing on proper placement, execution, and relaxation, which will result in a good sound. Over time, I've realized that it's also a way to connect with the guitar, concentrate, and warm up. So, little by little, we'll develop our routine, which will begin by working on basic rhythmic aspects.
The second half is dedicated to playing, trying to put into practice what we learned about the technique with the sticks or studying other concerns of the student, which may be a theme, harmony, falsetas, improvisation, or even other styles, etc., always obviously taking into account the search or interest of the student.

FLAMENCO
- Flamenco technique
- Palos (Tangos, Bulerías, Alegrías, Soleá, Taranta...)
- Accompaniment to singing and dancing
- Clapping and rhythms

MODERN GUITAR
- Harmony
- Improvisation
- Repertoire (rumbas, pop, jazz, rock, etc.)

CLASSIC
- Reading, solfège and interpretation.
- Works
- I work with progressive learning books

Hey there! Do you already play the piano and you want to improve your skills with a creative approach to the instrument? Then I think I can help you!
I can teach you basic and advanced concepts of any style on the piano (classical, jazz, pop-rock...), and if you like improvisation and jazz then we get along even better!
I offer very personalized classes based on your level and interests. My approach to teaching strongly takes the student's creativity into account, but without forgetting that a good knowledge of music theory and piano technique are essential. I firmly believe that a teacher must do everything possible to avoid suppressing the student’s personal voice. Each of us — regardless of age or skill level — has a unique approach to music, even before touching the instrument! My goal is to help students discover their own musical identity at the piano, drawing on my experience and offering a solid theoretical foundation tailored to their interests and level.
That said, as in any discipline, there are no shortcuts in music. Passion and dedication are essential to achieving meaningful results. Furthermore, a solid technical and theoretical foundation is indispensable, no matter your musical interests. I look forward to sharing my deep passion for music with you.

And he’s quite flexible on the changes of schedule just give him a heads-up and he’ll cancel or change the schedule. Looking forward to more piano classes with him. I'm an architecture student and an 8th year long piano practiser. His international experience as a pianist brings to his teaching methods a lot of patience and adaptability. During the classes, he is able to adjust our lessons to the level of instruction to meet our goals, and this, always by providing a positive and inspiring environment! I highly trust Gabriel's teaching process! (5/5) Maria from Romania | In-Person Lessons

Do you have trouble reading music? Do you love listening to music, but don't understand time signatures, keys or chords? Music theory often sounds abstract, but with the right explanation and concrete examples it suddenly becomes a lot more logical, and even fun :)

For whom?
- Beginner or advanced musicians who want to better understand what they are doing.
- Students preparing for music theory exams (e.g. music school, entrance exams).

- Anyone who is curious about the language behind music.

What can you expect?
- Clear explanation, at your own pace.
- Theory made immediately applicable with examples on the piano.

- Tutoring fully tailored to your level and goal (classical, pop, songwriting, production, ...).

About me
I obtained a Grade 8 diploma in Music Theory and also a Grade 8 Piano from the Royal Schools of Music. In addition, I hold a diploma in Audio Engineering from Hofa College. I am active as a music artist and producer myself. Thanks to this combination of classical training and practical experience, I know how important it is to make theory understandable, concrete, and musical. I use my own piano during lessons to clarify everything visually and audibly.

Possible topics:
- Learn to read music.
- Scales, chords & harmony.
- Form and analysis (classical, jazz or pop).
- Rhythm, time signatures & tempo.
- Music theory for producers/songwriters.

- No prior knowledge required. Lessons adapted to your level.

🎶 Feel free to send me a message with your questions or goals. We'll see how I can best help you.

Feel free to reach out for more information!
