Katie is a world-renowned, industry-respected private violin teacher. She has two performance albums and is an active speaker, performer, teacher mentor, and disability advocate. Her studio is 100% online-based due to her busy performance schedule. Katie firmly believes that all music teachers should also be active professional violinists. My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding.
