In the lesson we start with the basics or if you already have experience, we start where you want to advance. Along with the technical aspects of the violin, I will also teach you music theory and everything you can need to achieve your goal. The lessons are controlled by you, so that your interests and wishes are always the focus. For this I will get you the appropriate material and teaching methods.

About Me

I am a passionate and dedicated violinist with a strong desire to share my love for music through teaching. As a teacher, I believe in creating a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages my students to reach their full potential. I tailor my teaching approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each individual student, recognizing that every student has their own strengths, challenges, and musical aspirations.

I emphasize the importance of developing proper posture, bowing technique, intonation, and musical interpretation from the early stages of learning. By focusing on building a strong technical foundation, I ensure that my students can express themselves effectively on the instrument and progress with confidence.

My name is Gabriela, I have 12 years of experience as a performing violinist and started with my teaching practice 3 years ago.

Music is a wonderful way of bringing joy and people together. My goal is to give you the tools to share it with the people around you. In this class you will learn the basics of violin technique such as the correct body posture, violin hold and the grip of the bow. In combination with violin, a introduction to music theory will also be taught! A personalized plan can be made for each student according to their own musical taste, this could range from classical, film, folk, pop music and others.

The violin is a sensitive instrument. To feel closer to the instrument many years of thought and practice are needed. I have made research about how physical modifications can affect performance and also participated in a course for better teaching methods.

I can teach beginners to advanced conservatory students. With beginners, I have an excellent book to start with which will be studied with the other common violin books (such as Suzuki, Schradiek, Kaiser, and so on...).
For amateurs and violin majoring students who might have pain while practicing and discomfort with the violin, I am specialized in finding what the reason for the discomfort/pain is, what modifications can be performed, how to find the most comfortable and efficient posture, and explain all these changes with logical explanations.

MUSIC IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE, SO THAT'S WHY IT'S CUSTOMIZED.

For children from 2 to 8 years old I use the colorstrings method. This method ensures that the student practices each level equally efficiently and the hearing is stimulated and stimulated to work, in addition to training the reading work. These violin lessons will be carefully tailored to each student, considering level, goals and availability to practice at home. The lessons will be focused around classical music, but I am always open to help students explore other genres as they wish. Ensemble playing is a very important part of music learning, and I will do everything I can to facilitate an opportunity for students to be able to play music with other people. The lessons will be supplemented with music theory and history, to not only give an ability to play the violin but to also give the student a well rounded understanding and appreciation of the music. Joining an amateur orchestra is one of the most rewarding things you can do as a violinist but it also asks for skills that solo practice doesn't always prepare you for. In these lessons, I help you feel confident, secure, and comfortable in your section, whether you're about to audition, just joined, or want to keep up with a demanding programme.
