Experience / Qualifications
I worked at Qalam Wa Lawh institution as a teacher of Arabic as a foreign language just after my graduation in 2016.
I also worked at IES Abroad where I taught Arabic in a Summer Program to students from Chicago University. In addition to teaching in class, I designed extra-curricular activities; I accompany students on their field trips to universities, educational institutions, museums, libraries and restaurants.
I worked for Amideast Morocco where I taught MSA and Moroccan Darija, then Amideast Switched their philosophy to Integrated Arabic classes. At Amideast, I also taught Arabic in Media. During the pandemic, I was one of the fortunate teachers who led online teaching and I gave training on techniques and methods of online teaching through Moodle. Teachers and trainees of Amideast benefited from this training
In 2017, I worked at Middlebury College as well, and I had the experience of teaching Modern Standard Arabic and Moroccan Darija in addition to ONE On ONE Courses in the following topics: Arabic literature, studying Arabic literary models, Moroccan literature, from speech to zajal and the linguistic overlap between Arabic and Moroccan Darija and other languages. By working with Middlebury in Morocco, I was able to get an opportunity to teach Modern Standard Arabic in the summer program of Middlebury College in California, USA. I taught MSA and Moroccan culture within a small society that has multiple languages and dialects as well as Arab and non-Arab nationalities which made it a unique and special experience for me.
In 2022, I joined Roots Academy as a teacher of Arabic and Moroccan Darija. I was the responsible of the cultural activities in addition to working on Moroccan Darija teaching materials production for all levels. Also, I was responsible for training trainees in teaching, designing teaching materials and designing cultural and language activities
