Maths can be fun to learn, and it’s essential in many different fields. But sometimes the contents are abstract and difficult. I’d like to share what I have learned and the methods I have used to help more students for their maths courses/exams.

I have studied Mathematics A and B on my own after coming to the Netherlands. Then I obtained a bachelor degree in Mathematics. During my study I also worked as a teaching assistant for courses such as linear algebra and calculus.

The lessons I provide is mainly for basic maths course at university level. But I have studied for Mathematics A and B level material (before entering the university), and so feel free to contact me for preparation of the university entry exams!

I am Dr. Iyer- a tutor with over 18 years of teaching experience as of 2023 and several hundreds of students from all parts of the globe. I teach one-on-one online over Zoom/ Skype/ Google Meet/ Teams using a pen tablet and the screen-share feature.

Seven years of experience in the mission of providing academic support to students in ESO or Bachillerato (Science or Social Sciences), university students in the first year and students of the IGCSE, Alevel and IB programs (Ed Excel or Cambridge),
In addition to the classes themselves, I offer permanent online support for students' queries via WhatsApp (especially important during study periods prior to exams), guidance in the use of technological tools (programs, videos or web pages) that can contribute to improving the student's training in Mathematics. I have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry.

I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs.
