Trusted teacher: You are a university student and have trouble with your math courses? Don't fret, I'm here to help! It doesn't matter whether you are a math student or from a different major, whether you are from an applied background or struggle with pure maths - the lessons will only cover what you need. Mathematics has a lot to do with practice and getting familiar with the way of thinking logically. With my help and guidance, I am sure you will become confident in solving problems and understanding mathematical concepts. The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. The topics, content, pace and methods of learning will be adjusted to your needs, ensuring that you get the most out of my lessons. Besides the lessons, you will get "homework" to work on to strengthen your skills and independent working. Topics include, but are not limited to: -Trigonometry -Geometry -Linear Algebra -Calculus (limits, derivation, Integration, etc.) -Set Theory and Metrics -Analysis (functions, Taylor series, etc.) -Algebra (Group/Ring/Field theory, Galois theory, etc.) -Number Theory (sequence and series) -Probability (statistics, stochastic processes, etc.) -Logic and Proofs -Numerical Analysis -(Algebraic) Topology (Homology theory, etc.) If you have another topic in mind that you really need help with, just send me a message! Whether you need someone that explains the concepts to you or just someone to practice exercises with - I am sure I can help you. You have an exam soon and want to review the main topics? No problem! You have a very specific problem, question or topic that you need help with? I'm here to answer any questions! The most important part of my lessons is, however, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment - I have no issue with explaining the same concept over and over again until I am convinced that you have understood it. It is important to me that you feel comfortable in asking any questions - I want to show you, that Math is more than a subject and that it can be fun!

I provide structured online tutoring for IB Mathematics AA HL, with a focus on exam preparation, mock revision, and identifying the specific gaps holding the student back. The first lesson includes a diagnostic review of algebra, functions, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, exam technique, and recent schoolwork. Many students do not struggle because they are “bad at maths”. Often the real problem is more specific: weak algebra, gaps from previous years, poor exam technique, difficulty starting unfamiliar questions, lack of confidence or not knowing how to structure their working. Once this is clear, tutoring becomes much more effective. In the first lessons, I look carefully at the student’s current level, recent schoolwork, mistakes, and goals. From there, I build a personal plan. Some students need to rebuild foundations. Others need help with calculus, functions, trigonometry, probability, statistics, vectors, complex numbers or proof. Some mainly need practice with IB-style questions and exam strategy. Lessons are adapted to the student. We can review school material, work through difficult homework, prepare for tests and mocks or focus on past-paper questions. I explain concepts clearly, but I also make sure the student learns how to think through problems independently, write proper mathematical steps, and avoid repeating the same mistakes. This tutoring is suitable for students who feel lost, want to improve their grades, are preparing for exams or need a more structured and personal approach than they get from school alone.

Trusted teacher: I have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach math, mechanics, statistics, chemistry and physics. I also teach biology up to GCSE level. When are you available? My timetable is quite flexible. I am happy to work weekdays, week evening and weekends. Which ages and levels do you teach? The majority of my students are between the ages of 10-18, but I also teach college Students. I am also helping foundation and first year university students. Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? GCSE, IGCSE, A/S-level, A-level, IB, School entrance exams and SATs Describe your arrangements for online tutoring? I use Zoom online sessions since it has many tools and features specially designed for interactive and visual learning. I am fully equipped with modern gadgets for e-learning.
