I provide structured online tutoring for IB Mathematics AA HL, with a focus on exam preparation, mock revision, and identifying the specific gaps holding the student back. The first lesson includes a diagnostic review of algebra, functions, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, exam technique, and recent schoolwork.

Many students do not struggle because they are “bad at maths”. Often the real problem is more specific: weak algebra, gaps from previous years, poor exam technique, difficulty starting unfamiliar questions, lack of confidence or not knowing how to structure their working. Once this is clear, tutoring becomes much more effective.

In the first lessons, I look carefully at the student’s current level, recent schoolwork, mistakes, and goals. From there, I build a personal plan. Some students need to rebuild foundations.
