My lessons are designed for beginners and players looking to improve their chess skills. Whether you're completely new to chess or already know the basics and want to become a stronger player, I'll tailor each lesson to your current level and goals.

During lessons, we can cover:

Lessons are taught online via webcam. Students will need a computer, tablet or phone with a stable internet connection. A chess.com account is recommended but not required.

I’m a friendly, reliable and approachable person who enjoys helping others learn and develop new skills. I’m currently preparing to study Robotics Engineering at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and I have a background in digital production, technology and working with people.

Through my education and work experience, I’ve developed strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills. I enjoy explaining things clearly and working with people at different levels, adapting my approach depending on what works best for them.

I’ve also had a long-standing interest in chess, having been involved in chess clubs throughout both primary and secondary school. This gave me experience playing regularly, learning different strategies and developing my understanding of the game.

I have been involved in chess clubs throughout both primary and secondary school and have experience playing regularly and developing my understanding of chess strategy and tactics.

I also have experience in technology and programming, including Python, web development, electronics and robotics. During a recent hackathon, I worked with real-world data relating to electric scooters and electric bikes across Bristol, using the data to investigate patterns and develop a practical project. This gave me experience working with large amounts of real data, analysing information and solving problems in a team under time constraints.
