About Me

I am Malaysian local native Chinese speaker with more than 15 years working & teaching experience for adult non-native speaker.

I am certified Mandarin Chinese teacher and lived in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. With great passion and communication coaching experience, I can help you mastering Mandarin and understanding Chinese culture easily and share the best tips through her teaching experience. Nicole started her career in education & training industry after quitting her permanent jobs from Sony Corporation. She also worked in the trade finance department of Standard Chartered. She is qualified Certified Financial Planner & Islamic Financial Planner and holds Master in Finance Economics from University Putra Malaysia.

Nicole currently holds an international certification for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages recognize by Government of China. She found her passion in developing education materials dedicate to language learning specializing in Mandarin coaching for non-native speaker.

Experience / Qualifications

Throughout her career, she has taught more than 500 professionals from different industry and expatriates from different countries learning Mandarin face to face. For expatriates whom are residing in Malaysia, Nicole have experience in training members of the ambassador directly from the Embassies of the respective countries.

The non-native learners she has taught not only come from different countries and age groups, but also have different learning goals. Nicole has accumulated rich experience in teaching foreigners for the past fifteen years of her teaching career. She is very good at organizing teaching materials according to the characteristics of students. She is also very patient and has an easy-going personality. a) Online Private class (1 to 1): Suggested minimum 1 hour to 1.5 hours per lesson, twice per week regularly for 3 to 6 months (Frequency will be depend on the learner's commitment and objective).

b) Teaching method: Refer to every learner's objective of learning, teacher will design a teaching method based on individual needs with customized syllabus and reading material, in order to achieve the target of learning.

c) Flexible schedule arrangement but subject to availability and the class cancellation must be 2 day advance notice in order for any schedule replacement. Short notice in less than two days will be chargeable.
