About Me

I am a mother of Two children, one who has autism and learning difficulties. I have worked for many years with children in a before and after school environment when I lived in the UK.I have been living in Spain for 3 years and teaching English for just over 1 year. I understand for parents how children with less of an attention span can finding sitting and learning difficult and worry if their child has enough patience for learning English without getting distracted. My parents all comment on how much their children enjoy my lessons because they are interactive and the topics are fun, so children are engaged and learning English without it being boring, they like how I am patient with them and will set students (young and older) some small homework to complete.

My classes are very relaxed and if a student is struggling we will continue working on a particular section/ topic until it becomes second nature, everybody has different learning levels and I always reassure my students to not panic if they don't understand, and with this alone my students are flourishing and at ease with me and their lessons and I can hear their improvements. All of my students work at different speeds and levels and positive encouragement they are growing in confidence and sounding more fluent.

My classes are all interactive, my students complete the work I set them during each class, we complete listening, reading, comprehension, writing, grammar, conversation/ discussion, that students have commented the lesson has gone quickly and in some cases have booked longer lessons with me. My interest for languages has organically led me into pursue a career as a Spanish tutor. With years of blogging and editing for social media, I have developed a keen sense of detail and aesthetics.
