Hi, I’m Tanya. I’m a native English speaker and qualified primary school teacher. I have 18 years teaching experience and have taught learners from a range of diverse backgrounds.

Having learned Portuguese as a second language, I have first-hand experience of the challenges you can face when speaking confidently to others in ‘everyday conversations and situations'.

This class is for anyone who would like to improve their English conversational skills in an interactive and relaxed way. My lessons will be personalised and creative to meet the learners' interests, personal goals and ability.
Lessons will be focused on developing listening, speaking, understanding and reading skills. Activities will be based on ‘real-life’ topics and everyday conversational scenarios.

My teaching approach is gentle, attentive and supportive. My goal is to help you become a confident English speaker. We can talk about your personal goals and how I can help you achieve these!

*I can also offer English literacy and maths based sessions for children aged 4-7 or English homework help.

⭐Get to know you - our first session together will be a great opportunity for me to get to know you, your interests, your goals and how you like to learn. This session will be 15 minutes and not included in your learning hour.
