About Me

My name is Lauren, I am currently a BA Theology student at Canterbury Christ Church University. I love discovering new things and learning about different world views. Teaching online is a skill of mine and I have also been taught online during the COVID lockdowns. This means that I am well experienced with online platforms like zoom.

I fell in love with geography when I was in secondary school, I absolutely love teaching it. Finding out about the world around us is amazing. I have previously tutored GCSE geography online, adapting the teaching style to fit his specific learning needs.

What can you expect from your first session?
I will ask you some questions and feel free to ask me anything and raise any concerns you have.
I will then go through the course syllabus with you and ask you to grade how you feel about each section. This will help me to adapt the lessons to your specific needs. Some students may want help with exam technique and others may need help with the knowledge itself, I can do both. Again, my tutor style is conversational with lots of questions and exam questions involved to help you become familiar with exams so that stress levels can be kept as low as possible.
