-Fundamental rules and review: Agreement with être and avoir, management of the direct object placed before the verb.
-Pronominal verbs: Distinction between essentially pronominal verbs (systematic agreement) and occasionally pronominal verbs (analysis of the direct/indirect object).
-Past participle followed by an infinitive: Analysis of the subject of the action represented by the infinitive (e.g. the actors that I heard perform vs the play that I heard performed).

Special cases and invariability:
Impersonal verbs (the heat he experienced).
Past participles preceded by the pronoun "en" or by neuter pronouns.
Verbs of measurement, weight and price (literal vs figurative meaning).
Past participles used as prepositions (except, seen, understood).
