About Me

Hi! I'm Federica.
I have always had a passion for teaching, but when at university I was a volunteer tutor teaching Italian to Erasmus students, I found out that I would dedicate my life to teaching my language and culture. I love observing the progress my students make thanks to my lessons, but above all I love the cultural exchange that characterises them. When I teach, I put my students at ease and I prefer to be considered a fellow student rather than a teacher. I always ensure that my lessons are dynamic, clear and fun and I encourage my students to speak Italian as much as possible, without being shy, because thanks to mistakes we learn even the most difficult language quickly!
In my lessons I use a communicative approach: I present a topic that we discuss openly, we listen to videos and read material related to the topic together, we answer questions and we understand together the grammatical phenomena that we encounter in each context; it doesn't matter what your level of Italian is, because together we will reach your goal in a pleasant and fun way!
