I provide tutoring in tax law and personal income tax to students who wish to strengthen their understanding of the subject matter and prepare thoroughly for exams. As a law graduate specializing in tax law, I possess a strong substantive foundation and a good understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field.

During the tutoring sessions, I explain complex concepts in a clear and structured manner. I work with concrete examples and exam-oriented exercises so that students not only understand the material but also learn to apply it correctly.

In addition, I have successfully mentored several students, allowing me to effectively respond to different needs and study methods.

About Me
Hello! I am Ward a law student at the KULeuven.
I currently teach tax law, tax procedure, and personal income tax.
But also technological / IT subjects, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
In my spare time I am also a Chiro leader, so I always get along well with young people, which gives me an advantage in tutoring.
But I teach primary and secondary school students as well as adults.
Moreover, I also give lessons for 'learning to learn'.
Education
I studied mathematics sciences from 1st to 3rd secondary school.
4th high school I studied economics mathematics.
Subsequently, I studied computer science in the 5th and 6th secondary accounting.
I am currently studying law at the University of Leuven.

I myself have a lot of experience with Excel. This through a 2 year long training in accounting and computer science where Excel played a very important role, I also got more and more mastered for another year through self-study excel.

Through these sessions I try to teach the student in question in a positive way how to study in various ways and how to encourage and motivate oneself to do so.
Studying does not go without saying, but requires mental preparation and motivation, once you have mastered these two aspects, you are already much further and you are ready to master learning step by step on an independent basis, and in that process where you really 'learns to learn' I would very much like to help you with that.
I myself am a law student at KULeuven, where I have to learn great suits, but by applying the right way and having the right motivation everything works.
Where there's a will there is a way.

Through these sessions I try to teach the student in question in a positive way how he / she can work with the different Microsoft applications.
I have been tutoring for 6 years now, both to students (privately or in groups) and to companies.

The Microsoft Office package has many useful and important functions, but these are sometimes quite complicated. I myself am very well trained in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
For the Excel part I had 2 years of lessons and 3 years of self-study.

I teach both beginners and people who already have a certain basic knowledge, group lessons are also possible and I am also open to companies!

In addition, I also provide a self-made tutoring course that can be used by the student during and after classes. I made these with the aim of explaining certain aspects in Excel step by step with a lot of images and examples, which makes processing even so easy.

If you have any questions or are interested, you can always send me a message.

The authenticity of an exchange. In a society increasingly rooted in a competitive approach, where automated exchanges with Artificial Intelligence cannot replace the need for human interaction, this is precisely what we lack.
As a lawyer by training and an independent legal consultant, creating "Le Droit aux Savoirs" (The Right to Knowledge) is a breath of fresh air. This private tutoring program is aimed directly at high school students, undergraduate and graduate law students, and more generally at anyone intrigued by the beauty of legal language (you'll discover it soon enough).
Moreover, being currently preparing for the entrance exam to the National School of Magistrates, a solid mastery of legal fundamentals as well as the methods required in legal studies remains.

🎓 It is now necessary to elaborate somewhat on my experience:
- 4 years already dedicated to private lessons (which is significant) via the organization Complétude as well as independently (law, French, science, history and languages).
Regarding the law, and to clarify my point, the teaching that was provided covered and still covers a broad spectrum within the legal field, namely:
- Legal methodology (essential for success: legal essay, practical case study, case commentary and summary note)
- Civil Law (fundamental concepts, contract law, family law, tort law, property law, civil procedure, etc.)
- Criminal Law (fundamental concepts, special criminal law, criminal procedure, criminal law of property and business)
- Administrative Law (fundamental concepts, review of the vast body of existing case law on the subject)
- Labour Law (history of trade unionism, study of the employment contract)
- Public Law (Constitutional Law, Law of Local Authorities, Law of Social Welfare and Action, Constitutional Litigation)
- European Union Law (primary and secondary law, European Union litigation)
- The Law of English-speaking and Spanish-speaking countries
- ... and other subjects directly related to the program of the entrance examination to the National School of the Judiciary.

👋 What about my teaching approach, you might ask?
Beyond this desire for authenticity, it seems particularly crucial to dismantle the prejudices that poison the perception of legal studies. Law can then, and in my humble opinion must, be considered within the delicate balance between discipline and flexibility, between rigor and adaptability.

💬 Wouldn't you be interested?
Please feel free to contact me by message and I remain available to discuss the frequency of classes and their modalities (in-person in Tours, videoconference and possibility of travel if necessary).

In the meantime, Madam/Sir, it would be a real pleasure for me to support you as best I can on your path to success because, as its name suggests: you have the Right to Knowledge! 😉

PS: The "Right to Knowledge" website has just launched! The link is: https://www.ledroitauxsavoirs.com. This site continues our commitment to authenticity and offers a presentation page for courses, an online shop (methodological guides and answer keys for legal texts, and soon exercise books for academic support), as well as a ticketing system for future conferences and webinars.

This series of lessons focuses on the skills that truly define a good lawyer, but which are not covered in law school. The sessions are designed as a practical, hands-on learning experience and help you learn to think, write, and argue like a jurist.

A central part of the course is excellent research. You will learn how to design and structure sound research projects – from papers to dissertations and theses. This includes formulating clear research questions, building coherent arguments, selecting suitable methodologies, and structuring your work in a way that is analytically sharp and academically convincing.

The sessions go beyond superficial research skills. You will be trained in:
1. Designing an in-depth research methodology (doctrinal, comparative, and interdisciplinary approaches)
2. Primary legal research, including analysis of case law, interpretation of legislation and use of legislative material
3. Secondary research strategies, including identifying high-quality academic sources and policy material
4. Supervision of theses and dissertations, including topic selection, structuring chapters, refining arguments, and editing drafts

In addition to research, the course places a strong emphasis on writing and communication. You will learn how to write high-quality academic papers, policy briefs, legal memos, and opinion pieces, enabling you to produce precise, persuasive, and original analyses.

In addition to writing, advocacy skills and strategic thinking are also covered: how to formulate arguments convincingly, handle opposing viewpoints, and communicate complex ideas clearly. The lessons, based on practical experience in legal advice, policy advising, and advocacy in the field of digital rights, show you how the law functions outside the lecture hall.

A key focus is applied learning: you work on exercises, receive detailed, personal feedback, and develop a portfolio of writing and research results that you can use academically or professionally.

What you will learn:
- The ability to design and execute high-quality legal research projects
- Strong skills in writing theses and structuring dissertations
- Mastery of primary and secondary legal research methods
- Clear, structured, and persuasive legal writing
- Practical experience in drafting memos, pleadings, and academic work
- Confidence in argumentation, critical thinking, and pleading
- Insight into real-world legal and policy practice
