I offer tailor-made online lessons that compliment your child's formal school learning. I aim to create a friendly connection with each student so they feel confident to ask questions and are not afraid to make mistakes, knowing that this is all part of the learning process.

Lessons are planned to suite your child's individual needs. For example:

About Me

My name is Mark and I am a private Mathematics teacher from the UK. As a trained engineer, I have a passion for mathematics and the sciences and work to build this same passion with my students.

My time in industry involved the design and manufacture of large aerospace components, and took me to different countries around the world. Having spent significant time living and working internationally, I enjoy meeting people from new places and backgrounds and welcome students from across the world.

With over 18 years of experience and a degree in Mathematics, Analysis, Matrices, Statistics, Algebra, Geometry, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geology, I offer private lessons in French programs for students in their final year of high school, the French Brevet, and secondary schools, as well as the international IB program in English (Grades 8, 9, 10, 11, 12). I also prepare students for competitive exams and university preparatory classes for medical or first and second year university studies, either at home or online using a modern and professional method that is much better than webcam and better than in-person lessons.
The online method is easily done via a link that serves as a writing surface, typing and projection, similar to Zoom for communication. This method is very modern and reliable (it's like being in the same place).

The course is designed for students to grasp the concepts, build the skills of analysis and logical reasoning. Students are taught how to build a mathematical model of a physical situation from which a deeper understanding, with the help of examples, is gained. The students we have skills of appreciating physical laws and numbers.
