I am Tasnim, an Egyptian passionate teacher. I am a Fulbright alumna in the FLTA (Foreign Language Teaching Assistant) program, in which I taught Arabic for one year in the US. I am very passionate about languages and cultures. I have been teaching Arabic to foreigners for about 5 years. I love reading and drawing. I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. For some students, homework help in the evening (over a fairly short period of time, often an hour from time to time is enough to create a method that allows the student to improve their work by themselves) may be a necessity.

Thirdly, TONGA is the widely spoken language in the Southern province of the country.
Lastly, Mambwe is a dominating language in Northern province and partially in Muchinga Province.

Learning with dyslexia, ADHD, or any other learning difficulty can be frustrating. Especially when you are expected to study in the same way as everyone else, despite your brain just working differently. I know this from personal experience.

I am a law student with dyslexia and ADHD, and over the years I have developed practical strategies that have helped me study, stay organised, and succeed academically. I now want to share those tools with children, teenagers and adults who may be facing similar challenges.

For younger students, I can provide homework and study support, helping them understand how they learn best and how to use practical tools such as mind maps, flashcards, digital resources, structured study sessions and focus techniques. If they already have a diagnosis, I can also help them understand the accommodations and learning tools available to them at school and encourage them to become more confident in communicating their needs.

Just as importantly, I understand the frustration that can come from teachers, classmates or others misunderstanding dyslexia, ADHD as well as other learning difficulties. My aim is to create a supportive, judgement-free environment where students can ask questions, experiment with different study methods and build confidence in their abilities.

My sessions are also suitable for adults who were diagnosed later in life, or who never had the opportunity to learn strategies for managing dyslexia or ADHD. Together, we can work on organisation, studying, reading, writing, planning and finding practical systems that fit your everyday life.
