About Me

I am a native Spanish teacher from Barcelona. I have spent over 20 years traveling and living in different countries, and more than 15 of those years in Japan, which has given me a very direct understanding of how people from cultures very different from my own learn languages.

I teach because I'm passionate about cross-cultural communication: seeing someone go from being too afraid to say a word to having a real conversation is what motivates me most about this work. That's why my approach isn't academic or textbook-driven, but practical, personal, and tailored to each individual.

Before each class I prepare a document with the topic we are going to cover, and then I propose exercises that I correct personally, so that each student progresses at their own pace, whether they are starting from scratch or already have a level and just need to be more fluent in speaking.
