Hi! My name is Zaina. I am a CELTA certified English Teacher from Galway, Ireland. I have seven years teaching experience, with students of all levels of English. I am also an examiner of IELTS,CAE, PET and FCE. I love working with students and encouraging them to feel comfortable, confident and engaged. I like meeting and working with students who are open-minded, kind and come to class with a positive attitude and a willingness to be flexible and to learn.

I focus on the Test-Teach-Test method and always aim to have students working on their own initiative and striving to learn in a way that encourages fluency. My methodology: Learning to structure one's thoughts to express oneself better
My approach is based on a simple observation: success is not achieved through lack of effort, but often through a lack of method and confidence. My role is to transform subjects sometimes perceived as abstract (Philosophy, French) or intimidating (English) into concrete tools for success.

The typical course of a session:
1. Quick diagnosis: We start by identifying the areas of uncertainty from the previous lesson or the difficulties with a specific exercise.
2. Taking action: No boring lectures! We work on concrete exercises, essay plans or oral practice (in English) to "learn by doing".
3. The "Montreal Method": Having worked for two and a half years in Quebec, I use a North American pedagogy that is very focused on encouragement, clear structure and student autonomy.
4. Summary & Objectives: We end each session with a recap of the key points so that the student knows exactly what to revise.
