I offer my help to students who need French classes (grammar, spelling, vocabulary, etc.). I can give these classes to young French-speaking students but also, speaking English very well, to non francophone students or adults.

I have also done advanced studies in mathematics, and can therefore give support classes to students of different grades.

After 9 years of English lessons and several long-term trips abroad, I can also do tutoring in this matter for young people. It is important to master the grammar and vocabulary, but also to practice this language orally to significantly improve its level.

Doctor of Chemistry, I am currently a professor at the Haute École Léonard de Vinci (Institut Paul Lambin) in the Chemistry Department and have been teaching in higher education for 8 years. I was also a full-time teaching assistant in chemistry at UCLouvain for science, bioengineering and management engineering students for 7 years. I also hold the agrégation (higher secondary education teaching qualification). With my background as a teacher at different levels of higher education, I give private lessons in chemistry, adapting as best as possible to your level by consolidating as much as possible the basics that often pose the most problems. I enjoy trying to make this subject, which, it must be admitted, is rather separate and complex, more understandable. I also try to make chemistry concepts more perceptible using concrete examples of their usefulness.
I most often work in 1.5 or 2 hour lessons with a break in the middle and provide additional exercises to do at home to optimize learning.

I must admit, for a math teacher, I had terrible grades in school. I always thought I wasn't cut out for a scientific career.

When I decided to become an engineer, I had to start from zero and learn everything by myself. At first, I would have been incapable of passing an eight grade math test. Months of hard self-taught work led me to develop a study method focused on deep understanding of a subject rather than mere information retention.

Through this project of becoming a private tutor, I hope to become the person I needed most a few years ago. In the last year of my doctorate, I offer my support in physics or mathematics. My courses are intended for all students from the 4th secondary to the 2nd bachelor.

My approach is mainly practical (full exercises) and always based on concrete examples to illustrate the concepts studied and make them better understood.
