I am a qualified Intermediate to Senior Phase teacher, having completed an Education degree with Honours, in South Africa. I have obtained Dutch (DUO) accreditation for my qualifications. I am an NVO (Dutch professional association for pedagogues and educationalists) registered practitioner. My specialisation subjects are English, history and visual art. I am trained to teach Mathematics to students up to the age of about 12 years old. I have completed a Master’s in Pedagogical Sciences in the Netherlands, which focused on supporting children with various types of special needs, whether academic, social or emotional. I am enthusiastic about interacting with and guiding young people to develop educationally and socially. Dear students: my name is Ana and I am a professional Opera Singer, Vocal Coach and Singing teacher. Counting on a Degree in 'Music-Singing', obtained at the University in Portugal, and two Master's Degrees in 'Singing and Performance' and in 'Vocal Chamber Music', obtained in the Superior Conservatory in Italy, I count on more than 10 years experience performing in big theatres and large venues and teaching singing. In 2024 I have also completed a post-HBO in 'Music Education', at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. In our lessons my aims are for you to: - feel comfortable with yourself; - feel confident to sing and experiment in front of me; - make progress; - have fun; - leave the lesson with more knowledge and a smile. I teach all levels and ages, and I am happy to share and adapt my knowledge and experience with everyone. Depending on your class level we will design a personalized program for you and set goals to achieve.
