About Me

Hello! I’m Brahim, an English teacher from Morocco, and I genuinely enjoy helping people discover that learning English can be both useful and enjoyable.

As a teacher, I’m patient, supportive, and approachable. I want my students to feel comfortable in my lessons, especially when they are afraid of making mistakes. I believe that mistakes are a natural and necessary part of learning, so I create a positive environment where students can ask questions, participate, and gradually build their confidence.

I have experience teaching beginner learners, including adults and younger students. I have an academic background in English Studies, Linguistics, Translation, and Digital Communication.

My lessons are adapted to each student. With beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and everyday communication. With intermediate learners, I can focus more on speaking, fluency, accuracy, vocabulary development, and expressing ideas naturally.

I like to keep my lessons interactive rather than having students simply listen to me explain grammar. Depending on the learner's needs, I use conversations, role-plays, games, picture-based activities, listening exercises, reading, guided writing, and digital resources. I also try to connect lessons to real-life situations so that students can see how English is actually used outside the classroom.

I particularly enjoy teaching students who are motivated to improve, whether they are starting from scratch, preparing for their studies, trying to improve their communication skills, or simply looking to become more confident in English.

For me, teaching is not just about delivering a lesson. It is about building a good relationship with the learner, understanding their needs, and helping them see their own progress. I would be happy to accompany you on that journey!

Education

Université Mohamed Premier, Oujda: I got a Bachelor's degree in English Linguistics. I got another BA in Translation and Digital Communication. I am currently a Second year Master's student of the same speciality.

Experience / Qualifications

I have completed a 40-hour English teaching internship and gained practical experience teaching beginner learners including adults and younger learners. I have also completed training through the English Teaching Internship Initiative (ETII), where I developed practical skills in lesson planning, communicative language teaching, classroom management, learner correction, and the use of digital tools in education.

In addition, I hold a TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) certificate, which has strengthened my understanding of English language teaching methodology and classroom practice.
