My name is Andrey and I’m a native Russian 🇷🇺 teacher living in Paris. My extensive experience allows me to vary my teaching styles. The communicative approach is the cornerstone of my teaching style but I also place a strong emphasis on pronunciation, especially when it comes to teaching Russian. For any language, I tend to select teaching materials that align with the student's personal or professional interests. Take a look at some of my reviews (not all of them are here) and let them paint the picture for you. In terms of my background, I have degrees in teaching French and English, and I've also studied legal translation and IT law. I've been immersed in language teaching for nearly 13 years now. My passion lies in both learning and teaching languages. I worked with English-speaking executives from various private and public institutions, including banks and government administrations. They all now speak Russian. I know how to quickly adjust to changes in teaching methods depending on your goals. Whether you’re looking to practice conversational Russian, improve your pronunciation, prepare for an exam or a job interview I’d be happy to help you.

Hello everyone, My name is Sacha, I am a 32 year old professional drummer. I am endorsed by Soultone Cymbals (USA) and Agner Drumsticks (Switzerland). I started drums at the Dante Agostini school, I stayed there for four years and then I studied jazz drums at the conservatory for three years. I have been giving lessons for almost ten years now because I have always loved teaching and sharing my experience! I am currently part of several groups: ABRAHMA (stoner/doom), DELIVERANCE (post black/sludge) we were notably at Hellfest 2022 on the Valley stage and Temple and Le Cha (pop/funk in French). I was also the touring drummer at the end of 2023/2024 for the band AL QASAR (many international dates including WOMAD 2024 in Australia and Sziget in Hungary in 2023) I have rather rock/metal oriented influences, I was part of the group Sweat and Tears for four years with more than five hours of repertoire, resident at the Temple Rock Tavern (formerly Guinness Tavern). I also have experience in events with jazz bands (covers of standards) and jazz/funk with brass section (Stevie Wonder, Incognito, Jamiroquai, new JB's, etc.) I give lessons in the HF studios of the 9th and 14th so that students can learn directly on an acoustic drum kit, which is very important to me. The course is adapted to the student's level and desires, the goal being to allow him to be autonomous on the instrument as quickly as possible by teaching him the technical and reading basics. My method is inspired by the Agostini method but focuses more on learning pieces.

I teach mathematics, physics and chemistry from elementary to high school: I put much more emphasis on methodology and confidence building. This makes it easier for students to approach the material. I support students throughout the year with personalized follow-up for each student: methodology, exam preparations, optimization and time management. Homework help, revisions, preparation of revision sheets, exam corrections, personalized advice. Depending on the level, the difficulties and the needs of my students, I set up a program to assess their progress. Some need more lessons to consolidate the basics while others master the course and they need more practice exercises. Once the students have mastered the course and the application exercises, we work through specific tests, self-confidence and time management, making it easier to tackle exams in class. I have students who were below average and who have become good at the subject; others who were good but lacked confidence and subsequently became excellent. I am available immediately for regular or punctual courses.
