I adapt quickly to each student, and I like lessons to be a time for sharing and connection. I enjoy sharing my passion for music by sparking curiosity and imagination.

Passionate about teaching, I have devoted a large part of my time to it for 10 years with varied experiences in France and Argentina.

Whatever the age of the student, beginner level or confirmed, I offer private lessons of violin and viola.

No knowledge or musical notion is necessary beforehand, the theoretical achievements are made as and when the discovery of the instrument.

While creating a repertoire, we will work the ear, rhythm, technique.
I focus on practice, improvisation, and the relationship between you and your instrument in order to have fun on your bass.

Okay, but what are we doing?

The basics:

- the silence
- harmony (scales, chords, intervals)
- rhythm (binary, ternary, swing, shuffle)
- the sound (technique, nuance)
- the coding of the English chords (A = la, E- = E minor, etc.)
- the musical culture and the different ways of listening to music

A choice:

- improvisation (learning to play without partition, becoming able to play with anyone, anytime)
- group music in general (the modern bass, the different roles of the instruments in a group)
- jazz (standards, swing, notions of harmonies and improvisation)
- rock, funk (notions of groove, rhythmic placement, search for sounds, pentatonic scales)
- music games for children

The instrument remains a tool to make music, so we will work to become a MUSICIAN (with the help of a bass guitar).

Any age, any level (to be evaluated during the first class)

I preferably receive at home, or at least near my home (Paris EST). Having a busy musical life moves are to be avoided as far as possible.

Do not hesitate to contact me for further information!

Additional Information:

It is important for your teacher to match you musically (unless otherwise, if you want to fill in gaps, or discover a new genre). That's why I present myself in a few lines, so that you get an idea of the kind of bassist that I am:
I started bass more than ten years ago, I first discovered the instrument alone (self-taught training).
I later played in several Rock formations. Rock I was interested in Funk (style in which the bass plays a key role). I then became more and more interested in improvisation and therefore Jazz music. I took two years of classes at the Conservatoire du 9ème arrondissement in Paris before joining the IMEP (formerly American School of Modern Music). Currently, I play in several bands: a jazz / funk band and a jazz / rock band.

My influences (in bulk): Jaco Pastorius, Weather Report Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, George Duke, Miles Davis, Funkadelic / Parliament, James Brown, Prince, George Benson, John Scofield, Hendrix, Zappa, Stanley Clarke, Al di meola, Paco de lucia, Bob marley, Marcus Miller, Kenny Garett, Bill Evans, Lettuce, Brecker Brothers, Return to Forever, Mahavishnu, Led Zep, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones, The Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Munir Hossn, Matthew Garrisson , Hadrien Feraud, Ron Carter, Linley Martha, Maceo Parker, Paul Chambers, Mike Stern, Bob Berg and many more!

Former viola da gamba student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP) and in Literary classe préparatoire with a music option at the Lycée Fénelon in Paris,

I offer viola da gamba lessons.

I have been teaching viola at the Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison (CRR) since 2019 and have been giving private lessons for many years.

I teach both children and adults. My teaching method is particularly focused on working on the body, how to mobilize it in the most efficient and healthy way possible when playing, using some tools that I learned during my work in Alexandre Technique

I teach at my place in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.

I profile each of my lessons according to the desires and musical objectives of the student. People of all levels, from novice to initiated are welcome!

For beginners: solid learning of the basics of the instrument (mouthpiece, sound, posture, technique, etc.) to be able to quickly play the first musical tunes. Learning music theory (reading and understanding the score) will be done in parallel.
For amateurs: work on technique, expression, reading and discovery of the repertoire in order to progress and achieve your goals.

Direct heir to the teaching of Marcel Mule, the 'Father' of the French saxophone, I would be delighted to share my method and my experience with you.

Do not hesitate to contact me so that we can discuss your projects and expectations.

These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.

Jazz/contemporary music singer for all levels. A student at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris and formerly at the Bordeaux Conservatory, I'm looking for new students in Paris and the surrounding area! I'm also a pianist and can accompany you.

During these lessons, I obviously want to help you better control your voice, and I like to adapt to each student's wishes, goals, and pace!

Mastering your voice means understanding your instrument and how it works, but also breathing, pitch, interpretation, letting go... Many concepts that we can explore together! Whether you're a beginner or looking to consolidate your skills, these concepts will be central to our discussions.

As a pianist, I can also teach you some basic piano skills, depending on your needs and desires. As a singer, the piano is a very useful instrument!

Upon request, I can also help you create your own compositions and give you the keys to finding your vocal and artistic identity!
