These days, calligraphy has become part of many things. From events to weddings, birthday celebrations, even personal things like journaling. Calligraphy is needed in many ways, from place cards to decorations, invitations to thank you cards.

Work in calligraphy since 2013 and having taught since 2015, I have taught modern English calligraphy classes, watercolor calligraphy, to calligraphy on glass, from basic to advanced levels, from elementary school children to the general public. The final goal of the class is to make participants understand how to write calligraphy good and in a right way.

If you have never touched any calligraphy, please don't worry. The beginner level is really starting to write calligraphy from the base, from one line to another. While the intermediate level is about recognizing and discovering the characteristics of each individual in each work, exploring each style in the modern English calligraphy. Entering the next level, we will start learning about flourishes and swashes.

About Me

I am an art and language enthusiasts who is passionate in teaching English and calligraphy. Have been working with various age groups from toddlers to elders, I can say I am a patient and not pushy. I also very exploring and open about informations.

Education

Studied at State University of Jakarta in 2013 until 2018. Majored in fashion design, focused in fashion drapery, pattern design, fashion illustration and painting.

I would like to teach Japanese calligraphy (SYODO) during my stay. I still speak limited French, so I will teach in English or Japanese. I plan private lessons for up to 3 people.
