Drum lessons for beginners - solid foundations, relaxation and fun.
From 46.45 £ /h
This drum course is for beginners of all ages, with or without prior musical experience.
The goal is clear: to lay solid foundations while having fun from the start.
The course is based on a constant balance between technique and musical performance. Technical exercises are always directly linked to specific pieces and grooves, in order to avoid a heavy or discouraging theoretical approach.
Particular attention is paid to the relationship between the body and the instrument:
good posture on the stool, relaxation, hand and finger position, coordination, balance and center of gravity.
These elements are essential for making effective progress, avoiding unnecessary tension, and developing a natural relationship with the drums.
Finally, I am primarily here for the student.
If the student has a clear idea of the direction in which they wish to go, I will be there to accompany them and help them achieve it.
I am not trying to impose a rigid teaching method: I adapt to the needs, pace and objectives of each individual.
What I do insist on, however, are the essential basics: good posture, the elimination of unnecessary tension in the body and a healthy way of playing.
For the rest, teaching is always built with the student, in the spirit of a pedagogy that has personally worked very well for me and that I now pass on with conviction.

About Me
Hi !
Since I started making music, my goal has always been to share my passion and support others in their learning. I was fortunate to learn from an exceptional teacher, whose teaching methods inspired me and made me even more motivated to teach.
I also come from a family of teachers, which naturally gave me the certainty that I wanted to pass on my knowledge in turn.

Education
I began my musical training in Barcelona while also attending the French Lycée in Barcelona, where I obtained the French and Spanish baccalaureate.
During this period, I took private lessons with the musician Alberto Cabello.
At the same time, I joined the Taller de Músics de Barcelona, in the professional higher education program in jazz and improvised music, where I deepened my instrument, the reading of scores, harmony but above all group practice.
Today, I am continuing my studies at the Conservatoire du 17ème de Paris, in order to be able to apply to become a civil servant and official teacher, while continuing to perfect my instrumental practice and my pedagogy.

Experience / Qualifications
I trained in Barcelona and I was lucky enough to take private lessons for 3 years with my teacher Alberto Cabello, before continuing my musical studies for another 4 years at the Taller de Músics.
I had the opportunity to perform at concerts, notably at the Club Jamboree in Barcelona, as well as at private parties, thanks to my teacher's contacts.
Currently, I am continuing my studies at the Conservatory of the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
I decided to settle in this city because I saw more opportunities and places to progress and perform.
