The world of teaching is familiar to me. Indeed, I have been working as a private music teacher in France for 5 years. In addition, in Venezuela, I worked as a music teacher in schools, at university and at the conservatory. Capable of adapting quickly to new professional environments, I have a particular interest in teaching and education, and I attach great importance to pedagogy. Depending on the motivation of the students and their age, I am able to find methods likely to adapt to each experience. I provide my lessons in a fun way to fully understand the musical language through ear training work (or ear training), conferences, the piano as a tool to understand the instrument studied. I also dedicate part of the time to Technical Aspects (very important to avoid undesirable posture effects). For me it is very important to make the technique of the instrument well understood, to promote the musical awakening of each student and to develop the ability of each person to follow their own musical path and their desires.

I propose : 1) Private piano lessons for children, adults, all ages and all levels, based on personalized musical monitoring: Discovery - Methodical learning - Improvement - End-of-year concert. 2) Coaching of actors and comedians (piano) For example, I was the piano teacher of actor Romain Cottard in the preparation of Yasmina Reza's play, "Comment vous racontez la partie". I believe that the theoretical fundamentals taught in conservatories or music schools, particularly music theory, are essential for developing a solid foundation as a pianist.

Hello everyone ! It is never too late to start the piano :) I teach you how to read American notes, learn chords, rhythm (work with a metronome), pedal, all in order to play with sensitivity the song of your choice. I start the first lessons with arpeggios, which promotes finger mobility and learning notes. Subsequently, we can work with Yann Tiersen (such as "La dispute", "nursery rhyme from another summer" or even "Porz Goret"). From the first lesson you will leave knowing how to play a song! The key is not to rush, work on the metronome and read the notes well. Possibility to sing at the same time. Thereafter, once the major / minor, flat chords are known and you start to familiarize yourself with the piano, I start each session with 20min of music theory (extremely important for reading classical notes). Little by little, we will move towards more complex composers such as Chopin or Mozart (such as Fantasia in D minor by Mozart, Nocturne in C minor by Chopin).

My name is Aurélien. Admitted to the entrance examination at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris in 2015 while having started the piano at the age of 12, I gradually developed a unique method to progress effectively and reach a professional level in just a few years of practice. Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I have over 12 years of teaching experience and I have been working as a Professional Pianist for 7 years now, in 8 different countries (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain etc.) and on Luxury Cruise Ships (Worldwide). I can show you how to have fun with the piano. If you're a beginner, I can take you right from step one and have you playing familiar songs by the 1st or 2nd lesson. I love teaching all ages. I don't teach everyone the same way. I tailor lessons according to individual goals and needs. I insist on the importance of technique and musicality. I also guide all my students even outside of the teaching time, by responding to all their questions (music theory or technical) and sending them videos. I teach how to prevent Piano Injuries by focusing on proper technique, posture, and practice habits. My professional experience includes coaching students of all levels and ages. I successfully prepared the students with their Piano Exams like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grade 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas). I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music. Piano/Keyboard - Alfred , Hal Leonard, Abrsm Grade (1-8), Trinity Grade (1-8), Hanon etc.

I can help students with their piano exams and theory exams. I also have experience teaching beginner students. My goal is to inspire people with music so that they find joy in playing an instrument and in the lessons. I also aim to make every student coming out of the lesson feel motivated to practice and want to do their best.

In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
