The world of teaching is familiar to me. Indeed, I have been working as a private music teacher in France for 5 years. In addition, in Venezuela, I worked as a music teacher in schools, at university and at the conservatory. Capable of adapting quickly to new professional environments, I have a particular interest in teaching and education, and I attach great importance to pedagogy.

Depending on the motivation of the students and their age, I am able to find methods likely to adapt to each experience. I provide my lessons in a fun way to fully understand the musical language through ear training work (or ear training), conferences, the piano as a tool to understand the instrument studied. I also dedicate part of the time to Technical Aspects (very important to avoid undesirable posture effects).

For me it is very important to make the technique of the instrument well understood, to promote the musical awakening of each student and to develop the ability of each person to follow their own musical path and their desires.

I am a final-year classical music student at the conservatory and have been playing piano for 13 years. Being a lifelong learner allows me to better understand the challenges faced by beginners. I will be able to guide you through the process.

My primary goal is to spark a love for this instrument in my students. I listen to your desires and preferences, and we explore them together to find what you enjoy, progressing from piece to piece.

I particularly enjoy working on my ear, which allows me to detach myself from the sometimes aridity of the score and to open myself up to other musical styles.

In addition to this, I incorporate important technical exercises that help build confidence in touch (scales, Hanon, Czerny...).

Then I introduce music theory (according to each person's wishes) in order to become comfortable with sight-reading and independent with sheet music (JM Allerme)

I am addressing this course to adult beginners, in their first years of practice, up to young children just starting out on the piano.

The student's focus and objective take priority.
Work on posture and "classical" technique, to acquire a certain ease, virtuosity and pleasure in playing the instrument.
A study of harmony, the heart of the tempered keyboard.
Open to different types of pieces and genres: variety, jazz, classical, French songs, rock, pop and other current music.
Accompaniment for singing.
Study of composition and improvisation, to express one's inner creativity.

This course is for those who want to learn guitar, piano, and music and harmony theory.
I started playing music at age six and was lucky enough to find a teacher who truly understood how to instill confidence in me. Beyond music theory, a very academic approach that clearly discourages further exploration, he had me playing, learning directly through my fingers and ears the music I loved. Without him, I surely would have given up. Like him, I now want to share the joy of playing, learning all kinds of pieces, and perhaps even composing my own.

As a passionate musician (piano duo) and holder of a degree in musicology from the Sorbonne, I offer personalized support for anyone wishing to start playing the piano, regardless of their age.
My approach: a gentle and structured teaching method, focused on the joy of playing as much as on technical fundamentals (reading sheet music, rhythm, hand position, basic harmony, ear training). I have also developed my teaching skills by teaching French as a foreign language to adult groups for several years — I know how to adapt to each student's pace and make learning motivating.
Lessons can take place at my home in Neuilly sur Seine or at your home, in the Paris region.
