I'm a recent music graduate from the University of Birmingham who specialises in acoustic, folk, jazz, funk, rock and pop styles. I've been teaching guitar for five years and have taught a range of pupils from complete beginners to accomplished players. I'm also happy to teach: music theory, song writing, film composition, sound recording and mixing. If you're looking to improve at the guitar in a fun and relaxed environment, give me a call!

About Me
Hello,
My name is Paddy. I'm a freelance guitarist, songwriter and producer based in Plymouth. I recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a first class honours in music specialising in electro acoustic composition and jazz guitar. I regularly play at festivals and concerts across the country with my jazz-pop band Argle Bargle, and I also have recently started a striped back folk band.
My teaching style is heavily student lead. I teach whatever you want to learn, whether it be a new song, guitar solo or a new chord voicing to spice up your playing. I also teach the ABRSM and Trinity guitar programmes for anyone wishing to gain official qualifications on the guitar.
Generally, each lesson I send over a recording and personalised TAB/score, which provides more detail than the majority of online resources.
I'm friendly and hardworking and really keen to teach anyone who wants to learn something new on the guitar.
