I provide private cello lessons for adult students at all levels in the Berlin, Germany area. I teach primarily in English or German but can also teach in French, some basic Spanish and Portuguese. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in cello performance as well as over 15 years of teaching experience.
I also offer regular group classes for adults, deep diving into specific topics of cello technique or different repertoire.

Extra information

I have one cello available at my private teaching studio for use during lessons. I will also provide most sheet music materials. Bring the sheets you own and your own cello if you have them.

About Me

Hi! I’m Natasha, a cellist based in Berlin. I offer cello lessons for students of all levels—whether you're brand new to the best instrument in the world, coming "Bach" after a break, or looking to explore new styles and techniques.

My background includes classical performance, improvisation, and composition, and I love bringing all of that into my teaching. I offer both individual lessons and group courses, always tailored to your personal goals and learning style. In our lessons we'll look to create expression, connection, and joy in your playing.

Designed and launched a modern cello school with group courses, beginner intensives, and artist residencies. Focused on adult learners, creative methods, and Berlin’s vibrant musical scene. Developed hybrid courses combining live instruction, video, and community engagement.

Solo Artist & Composer
2015–present
Released multiple albums featuring original compositions for solo cello and loop station.
Performances at festivals, art galleries, and intimate venues across Europe and North America. Composed and recorded music for film, podcast, and spoken word artists.

Cellist – Ensemble Work
Co-founded duo and trio projects featuring original repertoire and arrangements. Collaborated with singers, poets, and interdisciplinary artists in live performances and recordings. Specialized in improvisation-based collaborations and site-specific concerts.

Teaching Artist & Workshop Leader
2010–present
Over a decade of experience teaching cello privately and in group settings. Developed unique crash courses for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. Hosted “Cello Days” and community music-making events for all levels.
