My comprehensive courses are based on books such as Minna no Nihongo or Irodori, as well as my own materials (slideshows, personalized documents). We approach vocabulary, grammar, conversation and listening in a progressive and interactive way.
Are you a beginner? No worries, we will work from the basics using French or English to help you. If you already have some knowledge, we will choose together the grammar points on which you will focus to progress effectively :)

For learners who already have a solid foundation, these courses help strengthen your reading and listening skills. If you have texts or content that you would like to explore, we will use them in class. Otherwise, I will provide you with resources adapted to your level and interests!

Prepare effectively for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), a recognized exam that validates your level of Japanese. Whether it's to boost your chances for studies, a job or simply to challenge yourself, my courses will guide you with targeted exercises and strategies adapted to your level.
In the first lesson, we will discuss in Japanese/French/English to assess your level of Japanese, your expectations for the Japanese course, as well as the books we will use.
Each one-hour lesson takes place online or at my home in Prilly.
Organize your classes at your own pace: once a week, every two weeks, or even in intensive sessions lasting several hours!

About Me
Hajimemashite ! Je m’appelle Chiaki, un prénom qui signifie mille lumières en japonais. Originaire de Tokyo, j’ai toujours été fascinée par les langues et les cultures étrangères — une passion qui m’a menée en Europe, où j’ai découvert un profond attachement lors de mes études en Allemagne.
Aujourd’hui, je vis à Lausanne (Suisse), où j’enseigne le japonais avec enthousiasme à plus d’une dizaine d’élèves — enfants, adolescents et adultes — en cours particuliers, à la fois en ligne et en présentiel.
Titulaire d’un master en enseignement des langues, j’ai également suivi une formation spécialisée pour l’enseignement du japonais comme langue étrangère.
Je possède plusieurs certifications :
– Certificat de formation de professeur de japonais comme langue étrangère
– Certificat d'aptitudes pédagogiques pour l'enseignement du japonais (école obligatoire et gymnase)
– Certificat d’éducatrice pour le Baccalauréat International (IB)
– En cours : formation certifiante AJLC (enseignement du japonais aux enfants)
Mon parcours inclut le développement d’une application éducative pour l’apprentissage des kanji, récompensée par le Fumiko Koide Academic Award. J’ai enseigné dans des contextes variés — écoles, universités et cours privés — au Japon, en Allemagne et en Australie.
Quand je ne travaille pas, je voyage, je prends des photos ou je me perds dans un bon anime ou jeu vidéo !
J’anime aussi mon podcast “Chiaki’s Nihongo Café”, où je partage des histoires de la culture japonaise pour les apprenants du monde entier. 🌍🌈
