About Me
My teaching focuses on giving you the tools to play and understand the music you like.
I am comfortable teaching classical, acoustic or electric guitar from beginner to uni level. I can also offer coaching to more advanced players or bands that just need someone to check with once in a while and keep them accountable on their musical progress.
Having taught a wide range of students over the past years I will adapt my teaching to your needs. Wether you want to cover music theory or not, play with a pick or fingerstyle, swing or shred is up to you, my job is to help you on on your journey.
I put a great emphasis on providing you with a solid method and tools so that you can learn and make progress on your own using all that is now available.
From helping a singer songwriter spice up their guitar part to teaching reading and harmony, from learning to drum your guitar to helping you get into music college I am available and will do my best to get your playing where you want it to be.
Being born in a musical family I have been playing the guitar for as long as I can remember. I have spent years studying classical guitar in France until the age of 18 in the local Conservatoire reaching just above the equivalent of Grade 8.
I then dedicated myself to acoustic guitar and percussive fingerstyle studying with artists like Jon Gomm, Thomas Leeb, Myke Dawes or Don Ross.
As I wanted to further my understanding of music theory and improvisation, I completed a jazz guitar degree at Leeds Conservatoire (former Leeds College of Music) in 2020 with a 2:1. I have been engaged in a wide variety of musical projects covering classical, jazz, pop, rock, music production and more. I also have been teaching both children and adults since I am 16 in both french and english.
