Trusted teacher: Welcome to the most popular GCSE Maths apprentus tutor of London! I am specialized in the reformed GCSE 1-9 Maths AQA syllabus taught from 2015 for both NON-NATIVE SPEAKERS / FRESHLY IMMIGRATED - no personal background matters. Intermediate spoken English is sufficient, no fluent spoken language is required! Pupils in age 14-16 – public school enrolment are required or Adults who are in the government-funded adult education program. And Native UK citizens with any background. . I follow the official AQA guide and specs on my classes with interesting, well-explained examples, easy to understand mathematical rules. My aim is help to understand why and how numbers behave as they do. I am also able to teach EDEXCEL and OCR. If the agreed study plan will be followed, I can guarantee a 7+ (A, A* or A** ) grade no matter the previous knowledge or study background. Age groups, I am teaching: Under 18 (agreement with parents and teaching at the parent's location ONLY): - Post-K3 test 14-16 years old who are actively studying GCSE first or second year - bright-minded pre-K3 pupils considered. - 16+ re-sit GCSE preparation, review and knowledge boost with the extra short time frame as well - even within 1-2 months. - 16+ GCSE - A-Level Bridge. Over 18: - GOVERNMENT FUNDED - First GCSE Maths and English for Students with foreign background - flexible, efficient classes for adults who want to get their first higher education qualification in the United Kingdom. No age limitation! - Anybody who is over 18, self-studying and need teaching support in order to absolve their GCSE Maths grade. My classes are not about repetitive, boring and unrealistic example problems or endless formulae memorizing. The most important part of tuition is to support and guide teenagers and adults on the path of understanding mathematics with well-explained rules and interesting problems to solve together. Why my classes are different? - My classes are student-centered and never forced by time and the teaching materials. I can quickly reveal the focus areas that we need to spend more time with, but it is always my student’s decision how much time they wish to sacrifice for a specific topic. - You do not need to memorize formulas! Every single formulae which are not in the provided booklet will be explained from the absolute base. It is not about memorizing things but understands them. - I always awake my student’s interest in the topic first. I come from a country where Mathematics has been taught on the ‘Asian’ way, so I know where ‘hateful mind grinding hours of unsuccessful studying’ roots from and I can avoid the pitfalls of a boring class. - I make sure a bespoke, tailored, student-centric teaching method and specification will be applied. - I have an unlimited source of maths sample problems from different aspects of our life: economy, information technology, architecture, daily decision making, etc. I always want to be sure of the problems that my students spend time with are more than just ‘dry maths’, they are always real-life examples that teach the students to skills in their future life. Why my classes are more efficient than other teachers’ ones? - A first-class! It is essential to find areas that we need to spend more time with. - I am fully flexible both in time and place. I am willing to travel a reasonable distance and I also have a suitable location for studying. - My teaching time is flexible; no fixed days of the week are available only. I am a teacher with free time on weekdays in the morning, afternoon or the evening. - I provide all the required materials to start your studying: student book, printouts, notebooks, maths tools, writing tools. You do not need to invest a penny into any physical, the only and most important is your time and attention.

Trusted teacher: Hi everyone! My name is Inés, I am 22 years old girl form Spain. I have studied a Degree in Mathematics in my country where I had the opportunity to specialise myself in Pure Mathematics, more concretely in Algebraic Geometry which is the field of my thesis. During those years apart from researching and studying hard to get outstanding marks I worked as tutor specially with undergraduate mathematics, physics and engineering students as well as last year of high school students focused on passing “PAU” the Spanish exam to access to university. I have worked with a really wide range of students, boys and girls who just wanted to get the best grades, others with no interest to do anything and of course with lot of students who hated maths. Eventually we always fulfilled together our goal and on many occasions I know that apart from that I was key to make some of them start liking maths. Mathematics is my passion and I always try to transmit it along with all the interesting things which surrounded this beautiful science. Proudly, today I can say that some of my “worst” students at the beginning, those who didn’t want to listen anything about math are currently studying university degrees such as engineering and they enjoy math as I do. With all this I just want to say that no one is more or less capable of doing maths, students need something which motivate them, specially with abstract stuff, that is why my method consists of showing real applications, answer why we have to learn this and that, why is important..

Trusted teacher: AQA / Edexcel / OCR AMIT B.Sc., PGDCA, AET. A-Levels Specialist Teacher I am 51 years old, an experienced teacher of Science (First class graduate) with specialisation in Chemistry & Maths. I have over 20 years experience of teaching GCSE/A-Level (13 years in the UK, London & 12 years in India, New Delhi). I have taught in several schools of West London, Surrey & Berkshire and now expertise in 1 - 2 - 1 tutoring. Start from the basics, fill the gaps in your knowledge, have a good foundation and then move on to the advanced concepts is the fundamental idea. There is a big jump from GCSE to AS- Level standard. Many pupils, who have secured high grades in GCSE plan to leave promising subjects like maths & chemistry just after a few months of studying in the sixth form. My question is: What is the reason?? Very simple pupils are not ready for this transition to sixth form. Parents & pupils, please have a word before making any decision. From 2014 onwards, Examinations are now based on the annual system, so you will not have that many chances to repeat & improve your grades, as it used to be in the past. Prepare thoroughly and then sit in exams, honestly, it will be a very good rewarding experience. Please collect past year exam papers, relevant text books and an aim & then come to me that is all I am looking for. Future belongs to those who prepare for it rather blaming the luck now is the right time to prepare for 2021 exams. GIVE IT ONCE & MAKE IT HAPPEN should be the motto. Please note chemistry is a very important subject if you are seeking career in the fields like medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, forensic sciences, defence, nursing, chemist, etc.

Trusted teacher: I have instructed students of different age groups in saxophone performance and music theory (including counterpoint, harmony and composition) up until university level, in Spain and the UK. After graduating from Cambridge with a double starred first, taking into consideration my academic results and teaching experience, I have also been selected for inclusion in the Supervisor Registry to teach counterpoint and harmony papers. My approach to lessons is very flexible, and I always try to adapt to the needs and qualities of each student. I believe that communication is essential, and at the beginning of each lesson I ask my students if they found my recommendations from the previous lesson helpful and how they see their progress. After this spoken introduction, we proceed to work on some warm-up and technical exercises. Then, we play some studies and pieces, or go over some music theory exercises, trying to apply the advice from the previous lesson and make further improvements. Finally, we conclude the lesson with a summary, listing the main key points and suggestions and comparing our experience to the previous lessons, trying to find a clear sense of progression and a coherent line of work towards a certain goal. This teleological mindset occupies a central position in my methodology, and I always encourage my students to look ahead and plan a series of stimulating events or challenges to look foward to, such as a concert, a recital, a presentation or an exam.

Trusted teacher: Laying and consolidating the foundations of mathematics and science in middle and high school is essential to developing your children's reasoning skills, ensuring them every chance of success in their future studies... and obviously guaranteeing them very good results at the baccalaureate or patent and throughout the year! I am a young engineer with a recent double degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon and the Technical University of Denmark in general engineering and civil engineering, and I suggest you follow your children throughout the year to provide them with the basics , methods and in-depth studies that teachers do not always have the time to give to students. Having myself recently completed a scientific baccalaureate and a scientific preparatory class at the Lycée Saint Louis in Paris, I know the paths and states of mind (positive as well as negative!) of the students, and will help them progress effectively with kindness, good humor and patience. I have several years of experience in private lessons at all levels, including one in London, and have thus acquired teaching skills and knowledge of science programs from middle school to high school (including the new program). I prepare my lessons in advance, can provide schedules to students, and seek to create connections with them that allow us to move forward more quickly and with mutual trust. My goal is to provide good results, but above all to ensure a deep understanding of the concepts of the program, methods and scientific reasoning, as well as to teach students the rigor and logic essential to these subjects. These concepts are assets and tools that will be useful to your children throughout their studies and careers. With the last half of the year 2018-2019 severely disrupted by the health crisis, your children may have accumulated certain gaps that I can help to fill. I am very available for my students, have already provided a large number of distance lessons by Skype with great success. I like to know my students and establish relationships of trust with them, as equals, by providing friendly, educational and personalized support. I am very attentive and can happily help my students throughout the week and outside of class if they have questions about exercises or methods. My prices are commensurate with my investment, my educational experience and my qualifications, having accumulated 6 years of high-level scientific studies. I am very accommodating with schedules and can easily postpone classes if necessary. Do not hesitate to contact me; happy back to school! Alice

I had a great connection with Nathaje which is important, especially since we started during the Pandemic and opted for online training. Nevertheless I felt completely immersed in her lesson and was comfortable throughout our session. She's an excellent teacher with patience and genuine interest in your vocal improvements.
