Beat the 15% TU Delft Acceptance Rate! Over the past 2 years, more than half of my students have successfully passed the selection process. To kick things off, I’m offering a 2-for-1 first class: we’ll build your personalized study strategy and complete your first full lesson in a 2 hour sessions for the price of 1! TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed. As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself, completed the courses at university with excellent grades and teaching over 15 students for the entrance exam. The reviews left by the students show how satisfied they are with the classes! Throughout the class, I will use a presentation to explain the main concepts of each exam (Maths, Physics and Aerospace Engineering), focusing on those subjects the student is struggling with most. After this, I will help the student complete some practice excercises, and then assign extra practice to complete on their own time. These exercises will then be reviewed in the following class to ensure the topics have been understood. Near the exam, I will provide you with more than 1000 exam-type questions for you to get toned-up right before the real test! I am looking forward to help you in your journey as an aerospace engineer!

My name is Arjen. I tutor and give exam training in math and physics for upper secondary education (Dutch HAVO/VWO, IB, or other similar programmes). As an Aerospace Engineer, I help students not only with solving problems, but especially with understanding the “why” behind the theory. I start with a short diagnosis: where is the real difficulty? Based on this, I create a personal learning plan that I share with the student. In this way we work in a focused way on those areas where most is to be gained. During the sessions, the focus is on recognizing structure and analyzing problems step by step, so that students become more independent and their confidence gets a boost. In my explanations, I regularly use examples from technology and engineering. By linking abstract theory to real applications, it becomes clearer where the mathematics or physics comes from and what it is needed for, and things often suddenly “click”. I can give lessons both at home and via an online connection. In the latter case, I do this using a tablet, allowing you to follow my explanations and examples live on your screen. After the the lessons, I create personal practice exercises when needed, tailored to the student’s level and learning goals. In this way, we work not only towards better results in the short term, but also towards a strong foundation for future studies.

My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!

I have been a teacher for over 30 years, and I gained experience in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the People's University (Volksuniversiteit) in The Hague (Netherlands). Since 2015 I have been teaching Polish to adults from different backgrounds at this university. I am a teacher with language teaching preparation, which means that I am prepared to conduct Polish lessons as a foreign or second language Moreover, children from Polish-Dutch families were or currently are participants in my private and group lessons at a Saturday school in the Netherlands. Given my disciplined, reliable and professional attitude, I am happy to take up any challenge in teaching Polish as a foreign language. I use simple yet effective teaching methods such as a focus on direct contact with the language, natural acquisition of vocabulary and grammar or frequent repetition of language material. During my lessons I mainly use the tools and materials from various publishers. Being a teacher gives me great satisfaction, especially when I see students ambitiously continue their language learning and try to use and expand their knowledge at every interaction with the Polish society.

As a multidisciplinary artist, I believe that strong digital work is rooted in traditional mastery. This course combines the tactile logic of oil painting and watercolors with the power of Photoshop and digital design. We begin with the core fundamentals, anatomy, still life, and composition before transitioning those skills into the digital space. You will learn to control digital brushes, build convincing lighting, and apply color with intention. We move beyond simple tutorials to tackle character design, surreal environments, and professional workflows. By the end of this course, you will have a body of polished, original work and a deep understanding of the design fundamentals that make an image successful in any medium. you’ll produce portfolio-ready artworks and understand a professional workflow from sketch to finish. Each session combines hands-on exercises with discussion of artistic choices, so you strengthen both technical skill and creative judgment. This course is for beginners and intermediate artists who want to go beyond tutorials and actually build a body of polished, original work.

Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages. Learning how to play a musical instrument is a path that only leads to growth. It is an activity that is challenging, beautiful and extremely rewarding. It allows you to connect your body and mind through a creative proccess that can be shared with others. I really believe that studying the violin has the power to stimulate the intellect, enhance creativity and let us enjoy music, not only by listening, but also by producing it! If this resonates, please keep reading! I am Julia, a classical violin player. I studied at Codarts university in Rotterdam and played in an Orchestral Academy for a year in Spain. I discovered I enjoy teching very much while following a minor in education during my bachelor. Throughout the course I learned pedagogy, didactics and methodology, and worked with students of different ages and levels of experience. I love teaching because it allows me to share my knowledge and challenges me to be more imaginative and flexible. The lessons are tailor-made. This means that the goals are going to be adapted to YOUR wishes taking in account previous experience, expectations and musical taste. Even though I have a classical training, I am open to work with different styles. I teach children from 5 years old onwards and adults. Where words leave off, music begins...

However, being fit is more important than being the best. We will find your needs together and start working from that point. You can come with no experience at all and I will help you to explore and develop your voice. It's also not important if you cannot read music, I can help you with that as well. If you are already a singer, we will work in order to refine your technique. Although I have the most experience with classical, I am able and I am glad to teach other styles! Voice, breathing, and posture are connected and fundamental for a healthy technique so we will also work on that while we focus on your voice. Singing can be very personal and confronting but do not fear, we work in a safe environment. Let yourself be surprised with what you can achieve!! The lesson can be in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian.
