I can teach Mathematics from High School level up to Master's level (Linear Algebra and Statistics). I can also teach programming in Python.

I believe in explaining Mathematics by giving practical examples rather than bookish knowledge. In order to understand Mathematics it is important to understand the underlying concepts and transfer that knowledge to problem solving techniques.

I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude).

I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results.

As a previous IGCSE & IB student graduate I understand the stress and difficulty in preparing for both the Mid-terms and End of year exams. The curriculum provided for both subjects will be based on deconstructing the theory into smaller sections which are then each focused on key vocabulary and factual information. Additionally, for each subject a clear essay structure for exams will be outlined and practised based on IGCSE & IB grading criteria.
