I am Sjoerd, 38 years young, and I live in beautiful Bokhoven.
My main interest is nature, followed by the environment. The coherence of processes in nature is fascinating. For this reason I started following my current study four years ago. I hope to be able to use this to conduct research into, for example, the consequences of climate change on the resistance of plants.
Volunteer work and hobbies:
In addition to my studies, I am still actively designing and setting up a well-known food forest.
At the Open University I am a buddy of someone with a disability, and I am also a student member of the education committee.
My favorite hobby is in my backyard; the vegetable garden. I like doing this, and you also enjoy being outside.
