My name is Kalina, 21 years old. At the moment I am studying for a Bachelor's degree in orchestra and ensemble music at the Saar University of Music. When I was 3 years old, I started my occupation with singing, dancing and music in general. I have been playing the viola since 2006 and I graduated from music school in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. I am a very emotional and sociable person with lots of creative ideas that I would like to use in the learning process.
I am also happy to teach in German or English. Despite my little experience with home schooling, I am very motivated to hear new ideas and suggestions from you.

My name is Paula and I am a violinist, violin teacher and orchestra musician. I have a "Master of Music" in violin at the Saar University of Music with Prof. Joshua Epstein and I am currently studying in the master's program in chamber music with Krzysztof Chorlezski, violist of the Belcea Quartet, and Mario Blaumer, cello director of the Saarland Radio Orchestra. I'm also doing an internship in the Philharmonic State Orchestra Mainz, but I spend most of my time in Saarbrücken.

I also completed a two-year course in osteopathy, studied two years of a bachelor's degree in education and a course in neuroanatomy. When teaching violin, I am particularly interested in how the brain works and its relationship to the body and concentration, as well as working with emotions, which can be applied to both music and life.

I teach violin privately and at two schools in Germany. I have played in orchestras in Germany and Spain, for example the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie or the orchestra of the Comunitat Valenciana (Opera in Valencia), and in concert halls such as the Elbphilarmonie or the Berlin Philharmonie. I am also a member of various chamber music ensembles, especially string quartets.

I live in the center of Saarbrücken and mostly teach at home, but I can also come to you. And if you want, you can also get lessons online. Lessons can take place in German, English or Spanish.

In order to play an instrument well, you can't just have fun, you have to learn the right basic technique. I offer such a lesson so that you learn properly and still don't lose any fun.

I'm now doing my master's degree in both violin and viola. I study in Germany and Belgium at the same time. I can now speak German very fluently, but I'm still on the way to being able to speak French. :)
