I am an italian artist and theater director with a bachelor and master in environmental engineering up my sleeve.
I am based in Saint Gilles, but previously I lived in Bristol (UK) where I taught private italian lessons to students of different levels that needed the language for peculiar reasons. Among my students I had: BBC' reporters who had to make documentaries in Italy, young entrepreneurs who wanted to buy properties in Italy -and so needed italian to negotiate- opera singers and aspiring actors.

The private tutoring would consist of any material requested or can even be simply for checking or proof reading. I will teach one to one and lesson can be in english on only in Italian based on the student preference and level. I have a very flexible timetable and I can adapt to different skill levels and ability. In my teaching method I try to focus on the strong points and qualities of student in order to build up technical skills which will help the student to overcome difficulties in a simple and natural way.

For curios or/and advanced learner reading and discussion classes can focus on history of theatre and Italian literature.
Being an engineer, I also offer math classes for students.

Extra information

You can choose to bring a laptop or pen and paper during the lesson. I can also teach where you feel most comfortable to meet and have your lessons.

About Me

Visual Artist, director and histories researcher. I consider education and dialogue key elements to build a better future. Since I was a young students It has always been a pleasure for me to help people study and to share my knowledges. Having become an expert in different fields helps me to crete interdisciplinary connections and creative paths for the students. Writing skills are an important part of communication in a foreign language, in order to communicate a message with clarity and ease. For this reason, this course aims to improve your grammar, spelling, punctuation and complex phrase construction. Special attention will be paid to correct ortography - with special emphasis on constructs that may be difficult - and to plan specific pieces of writing that the student may need at school, university or in the workplace.
The student will have the opportunity to use the appropriate vocabulary in diverse written situations, focusing on formal expression.
Therefore, the aim of this course is to develop students written expression through a series of graded steps, using a stimulating range of writing activities based on the student's needs.

Passionate & empathetic teacher. I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured at the time as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths.

The courses can be separated. I'm a fan and a degree student of cinema so i really like talk about the Cinema and the Media. If you want to learn italian is my native language, and Spanish is my second language, cause i live some years between Spain and South America.
