Passionate about music and teaching it, the goal of my lessons is first and foremost the joy of playing and sharing. Every student is different, so we'll discuss your wishes and motivations for learning the flute. For beginners, we'll explore the instrument's sonic possibilities together and gradually learn to produce a sound and then play across its entire range. Very quickly, we'll be playing real pieces, solo, in duets, and even with recorded piano accompaniment! No prior knowledge of music theory is required; we can learn note reading, rhythm, and other skills alongside playing the instrument. For advanced students, we can delve deeper into the knowledge and specificities of musical styles (classical, baroque, contemporary, etc.). You can also come with a specific objective: a desire to specialize in a particular style, improve your finger technique, or refine your sound, for example. In all cases, we will explore as many different styles as possible, from early music to contemporary, including improvisation and world music.

About Me
A graduate of the Royal Conservatories of Brussels and Mons (Belgium), I currently teach at a conservatory in the Paris region. I also hold a degree in musicology and a Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) in flute. Passionate about teaching, I wish to share my love of the flute and music with as many people as possible. I am also an active performer: I am a member of the Flute Quartet, a flute quartet that performs regularly in Belgium, where it was founded, as well as in France (Cannes, Saint-Malo, etc.). Keen to never stagnate, I continue my professional development to constantly improve my teaching through reading and professional collaboration.
