Learn Farsi language and Persian culture - Farsi/Persian coursesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Learn Farsi language and Persian culture - Farsi/Persian coursesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Although many people appreciate it for its musical sound, the Persian language contains very deep cultural and historical roots. Its rules and grammar are actually very consistent and regular. Based on poetry and historical stories, Persian contains both rigor and passion that come in simple instructions. The method that I use with my foreign students is based on these particularities in order to be able to discover the simplicity of a language alongside its dynamics and richness. Listening to ancient Persian songs and lullabies, watching Iranian short films, playing different games while practicing conversation with current topics or common interests allows for lively and concrete learning. At my side, I offer the student the possibility of progressing according to his level and by following the particularities of his mother tongue (Arabic, Turkish, French, English). With more than five years of experience with different learning methods (private or group lessons, language centers, online learning), I can easily adapt the speed of the course according to the level of the student by focusing about its weaknesses and strengths. As far as possible from a school process, I want to offer you a method that develops with patience and variety while combining the joy and fun of learning together. Maryam

Civil Engineering Student at ULiège (12-time Olympiad Medalist) | Maths, Physics & Chemistry + Polytech Engineering Entrance Exam PreparationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Learning formulas is not enough: The key lies in the logical decomposition of the problems. Second-year Civil Engineering student at ULiège 12-time medalist at the Olympiads (National + International) I will pass on to you the precise reflexes of competitive exams and higher education: physical intuition, mathematical rigor and calculation automatisms. Each course is 100% personalized: immediate identification of gaps, targeted exercise resolution and acquisition of an independent work methodology. Clear objective: to remove the obstacles, to aim for excellence in exams (secondary + Polytech Engineering Admission Exam, Bac 1) and to regain total confidence in the face of a blank sheet of paper. Who am I ? Currently in my second year of civil engineering at ULiège (first year of Bachelor's degree completed with distinction) And as a recipient of the Bisart Excellence Scholarship, I am passionate about the exact sciences. My journey has been shaped by 12 selections and medals at national and international Olympiads in mathematics, physics and chemistry. This path taught me rigor, intellectual efficiency, and the art of simplifying the abstract. To the point of establishing my motto: "Work as little as possible to get the best result." Pedagogical, structured and patient, I support my students with high standards and kindness to give them the tools for lasting and peaceful success.

violin lessons, music theory, musical improvisationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello and thank you for visiting this website! I'm an established, qualified, and experienced violin teacher who has worked in London for the last 26 years. I'm now back in Belgium for some new musical adventures, as well as to meet new students. I welcome students from the age of four to adults. I have a real passion for transmitting my love of music, and I like to have a creative, playful and holistic approach to teaching. I also play the piano and often use it for aural training or to accompany my students (or do violin duets). I do believe that music is not just for competitions or exams but a skill for life that can bring tremendous joy, discoveries, friends and fun along the way. Learning an instrument is also a great way to foster different qualities such as patience, diligence, presence, resilience, deep listening and the ability to express and share our emotions with others. Having explored many different violin methods and styles, I take a different approach according to each student. I like to teach a solid classical technique with some scales, studies and pieces, but there are many different ways to make music enjoyable or find other paths depending on the student's goal. Although I was trained classically in Belgian Conservatoires and the Guildhall School of Music, I do like to teach a variety of music that is not just classical (Celtic, world, klezmer, jazz, tango, film music, pop...). I often encourage my students to compose or improvise freely. In the last two decades, I have led many youth orchestras and violin workshops and worked for many different primary and secondary schools in England. I'm a member of the European String Teachers Association. I’m looking forward to meeting you, please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information.

German Classes and Test Prep Tutoring for non-German speakersTranslate this text using Google Translate.

German Classes and Test Prep Tutoring for non-German speakersTranslate this text using Google Translate.

German is the native language of around 100 million people worldwide. Spoken in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and parts of Belgium, and understood by citizens of many other nationalities, it is a valuable language to learn and know in Europe. And do not be fooled by the stereotypical representations of the German language and German speakers in the media! On the contrary, it can be quite graceful. While it might not be the easiest language to learn, it is much more accessible than you might think. Don't believe me? As a native German speaker myself, I am happy toshow you the ins and outs of German! Whether you look to improve in writing, speaking, reading, grammar, or general test prep, I am sure we can help you reach your full potential! The key is being flexible - it is important that I get to know your current level first, and we can adapt the course material according to your needs, wishes, and interests. What is most important for me is that you enjoy the learning experience and improve at a pace that you are comfortable with. Nonetheless, I value improvement highly, which is why I will make sure to ensure a certain level of challenge to keep you engaged. I will occasionally assign homework depending on your improvement rate, schedule, and the topic.
