Just graduated from engineering school, I am currently doing a master's degree at the EM Lyon (3rd business school in France). I am currently in exchange in Shanghai for a long time as part of my studies. I offer tutoring mainly in science subjects (mathematics and physics) from primary to final. I can also teach in other subjects given my general education if the student wishes. I usually give private lessons to students and the results evolve significantly very quickly. I strive to provide methods to work in an efficient and methodical way to progress as quickly as possible.

I'm able to speak Chinese, English and obviously my native French. I can teach French from beginners to proficients, or I can also simply do conversations. I specialize in teaching languages - English, French Hebrew. I have a basic program that includes the basic parts of speech and grammar and then I adapt the program according to the student's level and needs. Some examples: can focus more on speaking, help preparing for interview or studying abroad, adapt vocabulary if required specific vocabulary for work etc. My focus is bout the interpersonal contact with the student - encoureging and giving confidence to believe in their capacities, inspire motivation and a quick progress in the language. I can also adapt to specific learning program if asked for and if books are provided for.

Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
