Hello, I'm Luís, an enthusiastic violist currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerp.

With a focus on beginners and intermediate levels, I'm dedicated to help students from all ages discover the passion for music through the violin and viola.
Each lesson I offer is carefully tailored to meet the unique needs of every student. Whether you're looking to improve your technical skills, refine your posture, overcome specific challenges, or just learn a small piece, I'm here to guide you on your musical journey.
I understand that every student has their own pace and learning style, and I'm committed to create a supportive, calm and fun environment that encourages growth.

About Me

I’m a young and very enthusiastic violist. I'm very committed to help people learn music with a calm and fun environment. I always try to improve myself while sharing my passion for music.

Education

I started learning violin at the age of thirteen at Escola das Artes de Sines as a hobby with Professor Caio Oshiro. In March 2019, I decided to abandon my studies in technical sciences to study music professionally and switched to viola, keeping the same teacher. A year later, I got the opportunity to join the class of Ricardo Mateus at the Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional. In 2022, I joined the class of Leo de Neve in the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and finished my bachelor with Mathis Rochat. At moment I’m doing my master degree in Brussels Conservstory with professor Tony Nys.

Experience / Qualifications

I partipated in several masterclasses with Sheila Browne, Marc Sabbah, Jorge Alves, Ceciliu Isfan, Ewelina Bielarczyk, Roman Spitzer and Razvan Popovici.
I was part of some orchestras like, Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil, Brussels Conservatory Orchestra, Frascati Orchestra, Conservamus Symphonic Orchestra, and as principal viola in Orquestra Jovem, National Conservatory of Lisbon Orchestra.
I’m part of Young Belgian Strings.

Hello,
I am a violin teacher and violinist. Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. In addition, my educational background combined with the unique experience and knowledge given to me by my relatively recent motherhood and my love for children and other human beings, has led me to pursue positive teaching with empathy towards the student who aims to make him happy, to love music and to acquire a solid basis for his overall development! I am also able to teach with the Suzuki method. I teach children from the age of 3 and even adults. I organize concerts for my students at least twice a year. Our teacher using, if necessary, an electro-acoustic guitar to better accompany your voice and guide some of its subtleties, the teaching philosophy is adapted to each level, according to the pace of work and motivation.

These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). After studying music at a university in Japan, I came to Belgium to further my studies and specialize more in the saxophone.

Having lived in Belgium for several years, I give lessons in French or English, according to your preference.

For lessons, all you need to do is bring your saxophone.

Gabriel, born in Padoue in 1995, obtained his diploma with the highest mention at the "A. Steffani" Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto and also obtained the "Zambon" prize in 2017 as the best.
Based in Belgium since 2017, 2019 and 2021, he obtained the “Master en violon” and the “Master spécialisé en violon” with Grand Distinction, as a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Mons Arts2 and at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles in the class of Shirly Laub, Eliot Lawson, Wibert Aerts and Frederic. d'Ursel.
During his training, Gabriele also studied with Ilya Grubert and Stefano Pagliani at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia in Italy, Elina Vahala at the Hochschule Fur Musik Karlsruhe and after master classes with Elisabeth Perry, Ivry Gitlis, Igor Volochine, Vineta Sareika, Kati Sebestyén, Chouchane Sironossian and Nana Kawamura and chamber music with Muhiddin Dürrüoğlu, Enrico Bronzi and Filippo Faes.
I collaborated with more orchestras: in Belgium, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders, et Boho Strings Orchestra in Antwerp, l'Ataneres Ensemble à Louvain, la Chapelle Musicale de Tournai à Tournai, l'Assai Symphonia à Hasselt; in Italy, the Orchestra of Padova and Veneto OPV à Padoue, the Orchestra of the Italian Arch ODAI and the Orchestra of the Olympic Theater OTO of Vicenza; in Germany with “Mannheimer Philarmoniker”.
Starting in 2022, he will be part of the “Belgian National Orchestra BNO”, the “Orquesta della Fondazione Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi” of Trieste and the “Sinfonieorchester Aachen” as assistant violinist.
Passionné dès son plus jeune âge par la musice historique informed, il approfondit sin 2022 l'étude du violon baroque con Joanna Huszcza, Ryo Terakado, Elisa Citterio, Mira Glodeanu, Giorgio Fava e Benoit Douchy. Between 2023 and 2025 he obtained the Bachelor cum Laude in Baroque Violin and in 2025 the Master cum Laude in Baroque Violin at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels. His carrier with the baroque violin is left behind: he collaborated after 2023 with the greatest historical music groups reported from Belgium by the “Ensemble Il Gardellino” and from Portugal by the “Ensemble Divino Sospiro”, in Italy with Ensemble Mare Nostrum and Ensemble Locatelli, in Canada with “Orquesta “Tafel Musique”

Since 2018, he is highly committed to the chamber music repertoire, playing with pianists Julien Lejeune and Marco Mantovani. Axé sur le répertoire franco-belge et au répertoire italien du debut du XXe siècle (Busoni, Fano, Dallapiccola, Respighi) il s'est produit à l' Arsonic à Mons, Atelier Marcel Hastir et Art Base à Bruxelles ou encore à l'Academia Belgica de la Villa Borghese à Rome.

Gabriele also studied at the University of Padua in the Faculty of History and Musicology.
