I have been teaching English as a second language for nearly 8 years in several different countries to students of every age and level! My aim is to not just present and explain the language but to give students an understanding of how it functions and why. And most importantly, I want my students to understand and connect with Western culture that has influenced on the English language so much.

I have a B.A. in Communication Arts as well as a B. A. in Religious History. I have a 40 hour online TEFL certification, 120 hour in-class TEFL certification, a CELTA certification and I'ma certified teacher with the State of California.
Experience / Qualifications
I have been teaching English for 8 years in 4 different countries. I have taught elementary school to University level academically as well as tutored students from 10 to over 40 years of age. I have experience teaching students at varying degrees of language proficiency and I excel at focusing my lessons to target specific skills (speaking, writing, etc.) that my students want to enhance.
