For more than 3 years I have been giving private lessons in Maths and Physics to high school students, preparatory students and university students (14 students). It is always the same philosophy that motivates me: to make the student appreciate what he learns so that he learns it well and knows how to use it perfectly to perform during exams or competitions! But in spite of this constant, the courses are articulated around the personality of the student, what he fears, where he is at ease, but especially where he is not at ease because it is there that there is the greatest margin of progression and thus the most points to be sought.
ORGANIZATION
Concretely, for the organization of the lessons, I plan in advance with the student what he wants to work on during the next session, then schedule a videoconference meeting according to the time that suits him best. This makes the system very flexible to meet the student's needs, wherever and whenever they are. With the 6 students I set up this system with, it worked very smoothly. With a tablet that acts as a blackboard, we go back over the course of the session to the points of the course and the exercises that the student wants to work on and the important points of method. The key points of the session are highlighted on a sheet that is given to the student at the end of the session to provide him/her with a revision aid.
